Cool post. Great example of how film study and being a student of the game are just as important as athleticism.

Unfortunately, after Pittsburgh's accusations tonight, all we're going to hear about is how they somehow were listening in on the headset calls.

Communicate-gate. ESPN and Ted Wells are salivating.

I initially thought this was going to be about a certain person recently jailed for not doing their job.  I had the popcorn gifs ready to go and am a little disappointed.

One of the attributes of Collins' Good to Great Level 5 leaders is to accept the blame when things go south and credit your subordinates when they go well.

"Players win games and coaches lose them."

Belichik is a classic Level 5.

Stories like this are a major reason I love sports. I can't imagine going to work every day with a bunch of people who share a goal and actually care about each other, if for no other reason than they need each other to succeed. I work with a bunch of people that want credit for showing up for work and would step on anyone to try to make themselves look better. And that's the management!

I usually avoid the NFL because it seems so sterile and stale, but this was fun to watch. Tom's reaction was great, and brought a smile to my face. That was a man who's a kid at heart playing a kid's game at a man's level.
