Or just post here. I just can't believe the original one is about to be page 3 on MGoBoard with all these posts on a non-game Saturday, with these weak games today. And there's still on hour till kickoff! Guess you can post things too early, but then we had bowl game threads, Rose Bowl threads, and Sugar Bowl threads yesterday, so, whatever.
Been a busy day for MGoBlog...

wait till Bob Davie is done talking, then hit record.
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:44 PM ^
In fact, I am waiting for that. Still...
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:45 PM ^
HEY, ASSHOLE, SHUT THE FUCK UP AND TALK ABOUT THE DAMN FOOTBALL GAME.
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:45 PM ^
Those splits are for passing lanes, not running lanes you dunce. Perhaps having Craig James announce this wouldn't have been much worse despite the conflict of interest.
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:46 PM ^
Hey Bobby Boy is a Notre Dame product. Lets just be happy he understands the concept of 'lanes' in football and not confuse him with the subtle differences.
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:45 PM ^
BIASED ANNOUNCERS ARE BIASED! Talk about a one sided blather. they make me want to puke.
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:46 PM ^
they are so good at getting quick guys in space
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:46 PM ^
Those little Tech receivers can block!
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:48 PM ^
Indeed. It appears that the pass completion percent is also helped a lot by how good all of their hands are
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:47 PM ^
"nobody runs the screen like TT." They do look good and I look forward to RR getting our system this refined.
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:52 PM ^
Whoa - who was that pro-wrestler-looking guy for TT?
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:54 PM ^
John Cena? Never finished his education.
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:57 PM ^
No - someone in the game for them today (an OL?) has his whole face covered in what looks like eye grease.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:03 PM ^
sorry that was poor attempt at a joke. it's actually Brandon Carter. here is an old article on him...
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/big12/2008-10-29-texas-…
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:03 PM ^
Carter is a fan favorite. For their game on halloween, he came to the game in costume: no face paint.
I was glad to see him reinstated after the suspension early in the season....
wow he was wide open
...for undermining Leach. Supposedly the team didn't want Potts at quarterback and Carter was a bit too vocal about it.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:11 PM ^
Correct on all accounts. They have had serious drama with the QB position this year.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:19 PM ^
Do you know why they didn't want him to start?
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:24 PM ^
He's not very consistent. As I mentioned earlier, Leach called his competent passing persona "Nick" and his bad, unable-to-read-defenses side "Taylor".
The team had no confidence with "Taylor" at the helm, especially when Sheffield was playing pretty well in his first few appearances.
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:55 PM ^
I was going to take a drink every time Leach got mentioned, but damn I'd be dead by halftime.
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:56 PM ^
So are they saving the MSU drama for the second half? Oh wait, America doesn't care about State.
January 2nd, 2010 at 9:58 PM ^
nice timing on that end around
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:01 PM ^
I don't think that was interference. Why the TT guy didn't call fair catch I have no idea.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:04 PM ^
Love the call for the flea flicker!!
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:04 PM ^
we have failed little brother by allowing them to get into legal trouble. Perhaps we weren't around enough, away at football practice.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:04 PM ^
I can't believe Dantonio broke out the "no respect" card after his program just forfeited any respect it deserved with the potluck brawl.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:10 PM ^
That is such a little brother move.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:05 PM ^
as an "on campus brawl"?
It was a B&E + felonious assault. Get it straight, dipshits.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:06 PM ^
Touchdown Red Raiders!!
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:06 PM ^
absolutely wide open on that play. guy in flat on the left was wide open too
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:06 PM ^
No less than 3 guys wide open on that touchdown pass.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:06 PM ^
This is going to get ugly quickly for little brother.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:07 PM ^
All week-seriously. I would never go there for rehab now...
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:10 PM ^
Mike Patrick just said doo-doo!!
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:11 PM ^
Is that MSUtrue freshman RB buring a redshirt to play in this Bowl Game? That would make me ever so happy.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:14 PM ^
No, their true freshmen took over the reigns at HB pretty early in the season. They were their best options - not just because their starters weren't that good, but because Caper is actually a pretty solid back. As he gains size over the next few years, he should be good.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:12 PM ^
please give me the score ty
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:12 PM ^
Texas Tech 17
MSU 7
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:15 PM ^
17-7 TT
EDIT: 17-14 TT with 8 min left in half
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:15 PM ^
17-13 (PAT pending) Tech up, MSU just scored.
EDIT:
It's good 17-14 Tech with ~8:06 left in the half.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:21 PM ^
I know there could be reasons why you can't watch (dial-up, out of US, etc.), but in case you're not aware... ESPN360 is how I've watched a lot of the games without cable.

January 2nd, 2010 at 10:12 PM ^
has some crazy looking dreads
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:15 PM ^
I think if we played Texas Tech this year, the cumulative score would be somewhere near 6,000. Tech appears to have no defense.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:17 PM ^
Just wondering when they are going to get around to talking about the Leach firing. Has it been mentioned it?
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:19 PM ^
But I wonder where he could have taken TT in a couple more years.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:21 PM ^
but one of them is saying "practice" in reference to TTech more than Allen Iverson
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:25 PM ^
Bob Davie. Horrible.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:27 PM ^
I think he's lying about having watch Texas Tech in practice. He does not seem to have ever seen Texas Tech play before.
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:21 PM ^
Can our bubble screens PLEASE look like TT's next year? Holy shit. Those are FAST!
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:48 PM ^
It seems like these screens aren't any kind of read-just a set play. The QB doesn't drop back and read-he just chucks it and everyone goes to block the screen. it's just a totally different play (and boy does it work!).
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:22 PM ^
So something about 103rd ranked pass defense?
