Under Armour Game

Submitted by KennyGfanLMAO on
The Under Armour All-America Game is on today at 11:00 a.m. Be on the look out for Devin Gardner, Torrian Wilson, and Kenny Shaw. It should be interesting to see how Devin performs against the best players in the country at his level. I wasn't too impressed with how he played during his state title game. Hopefully he gives us a performance that gives us something dream about for the next 9 months.

going into the title game and his O-line was terrible. Should be worth watching this game with better talent around him.

Bama commit Philip Sims is probably gonna get the start for DG's team, but he'll be in before Montana's kid. Ha did anyone see the interview with that dude on GBW about Michigan prospects? I don't think he could reiterate enough how much he thought Shaw was a FSU lock.

A decommitment from PSU (good) and then committing to Florida (gag) on national tv (and no, he didn't seem sure). There's something kinda obscene about this monster we've helped create.

I'd be happy about a player abandoning a Big 10 school only when it does not involve enrichment of our country's most annoying football conference (i.e., the SEC). I'm not enthusiastic about increasing odds of hearing "DANGOLETEAMSPEED" a few thousand times when an SEC school beats a Big 10 school. Yesterday was extremely pleasant and I'd like to have more bowl days like that. If elite players from all over (@#$%ing Staten Island in this case) continue to get sucked into the SEC vortex, life will be miserable. Then, again, you never know with these guys. You may remember that Tim "50" Jamison was once the "unblockable" guy at an all-star game.

Thank God that Dominique Easley decided to drop his commitment from PSU and switched. He would have raped Big Ten OL. Glad we won't have to see him outside of the slim chance we play Florida in a bowl game.

I really dont know what he's thinking, it was scary looking at floridas' recruiting class when they showed it during the AA game, good thing Meyer said he would be coming back in August(that was the last I heard). I would'nt want to lose that class either.

I'm definitely biased but I thought DG was the best at moving the offense. He really needs some work with the passing game but seemed to make the right decisions on the read options (if they were read options and not just called runs). His TD pass was nice. The receiver he threw to was his 2nd or 3rd option so he did a good job keeping his eyes downfield. That ball would have been picked at the college level but he still did some good things on that play.

commentator said something about being a short amount of time to prep, so the focus should be defense line, offense line and then QB as the order of importance. Somewhere in there is special teams, b/c so many muffs, kids trying to be stars but couldn't hold the ball, good learning opportunity for them. Same has been true in B10 bowl wins, Wisc and osu defense won the battle, emo.
