their schedule was rather easy, I think they have been exposed.

Big East was overrated..
The only teams with a pulse that they beat were WVU and Pitt..
WVU sucks and Pitt is meh.. USF was overrated at the time they played them..
Pair Pitt, WVU, and USF against Wisco, N'western, and Penn State and the Big 10 goes 3-0 against them. Cinci is an 8-4 team in the big ten...
Linemen don't forget blocking fundamentals as soon as their coach is gone. Cinci is getting man-handled in the trenches.

The Space Emperor continues to be awesome and grace our presence. Easily the best part of this game
January 1st, 2010 at 10:48 PM ^
Now we know why Kelly left for Notre Dame...
Why does Meyer need a break? This coaching thing is easy!
Does it seem if the New Year's Day games are good, the game that night always blows?

lol.. it's not that easy when you're bent over with Saban and his crimson tide right behind you.

And it's a picture that will give me nightmares.

"Not going to ease up despite the score". Ai-yi-yi.

What is Britney doing with her life?

the Gators.
If Florida is this good how great is Alabama?
January 1st, 2010 at 10:59 PM ^
Florida is this good so much as Cincinnati really was Brian Kelly.
January 1st, 2010 at 11:06 PM ^
they've been taught?
See Bobby Williams MSU win over Fla in the 99 season Citrus Bowl and Bill Stewart's WVU win over Okla in the 07 season.
Now, maybe this situation is different if the Cinci players felt betrayed.
January 1st, 2010 at 11:15 PM ^
What I meant was that this is the end of an era for Cinci and EVERYONE knows it. All of those coaches are going somewhere else and some frankly have other schools and jobs on their mind. Maybe Brian Kelly could have held that together for another month had he stayed to coach this game--I don't know. I think the players' bitterness was, as much as anything, a realization to how important he was to Cinci football.
For all UF's issues there is still quite a bit of stability on the staff. Adazzio will be the head coach in the offseason which, from what I've heard, was warmly received by the players.

The Alabama team you reference is the same one that just barely squeaked by Auburn. Auburn didn't exactly manhandle Northwestern.
Cinci = Over Rated.

how Tebow's throwing motion would cost him in the NFL and one announcer sounded deeply offended at the other's comments.
January 1st, 2010 at 11:08 PM ^
For anyone at all still interesting, Cinci actually scored a TD. Just a few more to go /sarcasm

I wish Ahmad Black and Janoris Jenkins were on our team.

Nice cheap shot on the punt there by the Gators. Gald to see the kid isn't hurt to bad. I can't watch this anymore
January 1st, 2010 at 11:34 PM ^
Did it really happen? I find this hard to believe. I mean, surely the Florida player has spent 15 minutes with Tim Tebow.
January 1st, 2010 at 11:36 PM ^
aka the 4th quarter.
Thank God

Great catch by Binns.
17-44 is slightly less depressing
January 1st, 2010 at 11:54 PM ^
Sorry for the off-thread topic post, but I just noticed it myself during this 44-17 garbage time
January 1st, 2010 at 11:55 PM ^
are showing why people have disdain for them. 44-17 still passing with all 1st teamers still in the game.
Really distasteful.
January 1st, 2010 at 11:57 PM ^
I would probably find it mildly amusing to see Tebow get hurt running up the score in his last game...
But the martyrdom by the press would make getting hung up on a cross look mild.
Yes, I'm a bad person.

3:05 TT finally is pulled.

Sorry.

Meyer sure was matter of fact in that interview about staying. It just seems like lip service to quiet the media specualtion and help recruiting though.

A tribute. Cincinnati was completely exposed as a fraudulent team whose perfect record is a product of poor competition and luck needed even with poor competition (see Pitt, Uconn and Illinois games). It also exposed Brian Kelly as an overrated coach who was at the right place at the right time with pathetic conference competition and luck going his way. Just look at the players out there. Cincinnati was clearly outmatched physically, especially on defense, where a less than stellar offense lit them up. Kelly had time to bring in his players but failed to deliver on the recruiting front. I think we can put to rest any fears some of you alleged Michigan fans have about how Brian Kelly is going to run Rich Rod out of town starting with an upset next year. I've been critical of Rich Rod, he's made mistakes. But he isn't going to lose his job to this hapless coach.
The only positive from yesterday is the laughingstock ND will become under Kelly. No OC, no healthy QB until the summer at the earliest, no defense, no recruiting. I expect a comfortable victory next year.
January 2nd, 2010 at 11:51 AM ^
1. The less than stellar offense was being run by someone who has never done it before, and who is probably already left.
2. If you think the recruits he will get at ND will be of the same quality as his Cinci recruits, there is something wrong with you.
3. Kelly is the OC.
January 2nd, 2010 at 12:36 PM ^
yeah.. umm.. Rich Rod got as far as Kelly did in the same conference as Kelly did....
food for thought

Tebow topped Vince Young's total yards for a bowl game...
