Cardale Jones taken to the hospital
Seeing multiple people on facebook and twitter showing tweets from Devonte Jones saying his brother Cardale Jones was taken to the hospital with a severe migraine and inability to move. Not sure how to embed and could not find any other info on it doing a few quick searches.
Mod edit: Not OT. Here are a couple 11W tweets. JGB.
Confirmed by a couple of sources: Cardale Jones was taken to a hospital for bad migraine. Is resting and should be good.

Get well soon, son. Be ready for The Game.
September 2nd, 2015 at 10:35 PM ^
Bummer if true, but it doesn't sound too serious.
September 2nd, 2015 at 10:36 PM ^
How does that not sound serious?
September 2nd, 2015 at 10:40 PM ^
I interpreted that to mean the migraine was pretty debilitating, not that he couldn't move because of a more serious medical condition.
If he was literally paralyzed, obviously that would be a major issue.
September 2nd, 2015 at 10:41 PM ^
'Migraines' that cause you not being able to move frequently end up being seizures... both can be a signal of some sort of head trauma. This is a big deal. Get well soon cardale, you didn't come to school to play hospital.

Someone in the building says he walked out of it, for whatever that's worth. Anyways, I'll just hope he's fine and leave it at that.
September 3rd, 2015 at 5:42 AM ^
You mean, we SHOULDN'T assume the worst of what you said and neg you for it??
September 3rd, 2015 at 12:14 AM ^
between not being able to move and not wanting to move because your head hurts so damn much.
September 3rd, 2015 at 9:50 AM ^
All are potentially serious but he'll probably be fine long term and for the season.
Heat Stroke(F'ing awful had it earlier in the summer).
Concussion(as long as not a string of them scary but should be fine).
Exertion headache(few of my friends get them when competing, often tight neck muscles etc)
September 2nd, 2015 at 10:37 PM ^
Sounds serious, hope it's not. Get better soon.
September 2nd, 2015 at 10:38 PM ^
Migraines suck.
September 2nd, 2015 at 10:39 PM ^
Hope it's nothing serious and he has a speedy recovery.

Tweet has since been deleted.
I know I've had a migraine or two that make it almost unbearble to move, and the first one sure scared me shitless. I'm hoping that is the case here and nothing more serious.

This news made it here before Eleven Warriors.

They're more obsessed with M than with Ohio State, so that's not surprising.
Seriously though - hope he's fine and healthy.

of headaches in general; usually 1-2/week of your garden variety, then can usually count on a migraine once every 6 weeks or so. I've had migraines knock me on my ass, but never like that. I'd be nauseated and it hurt like hell to move, but it's not like I couldn't. Surely hope it's nothing too serious. Not just for his career but he's a dad too...
September 3rd, 2015 at 12:25 AM ^
I also have migraines and have twice been hospitalized for them, but no idea whether Jones' issue is at all similar. At any rate, I join the well-wishes for his speedy recovery.

Not related/important but the embedded tweets in the OP say September 3, 2015. Odd.
Man I wish it was tomorrow already

I think that's what happens if Ramzy (I'd think he runs the account but I have no idea) has his phone or computer clock set incorrectly or to a more eastern time zone.
Or Illuminati. Probably Illuminati.

"Migraine" is often a term that people use to describe any severe headache, rather than specifically one that is caused by changes in the blood vessels in the brain/head. True migraines RARELY can cause loss of movement to specific areas of the body, loss of eyesight, etc. Often, people with severe headaches don't WANT to move because it makes their pain worse.
If he really couldn't move, evaluation for a stroke is necessary. With the lack of information we have at this point, there is no way to know how serious this is.
Wish him well but FUCK OHIO STATE.

Dumber than the post the other day that laughed at the idea that Ann Arbaugh was real?
September 3rd, 2015 at 12:04 AM ^
Depends, he might suffer from migraines with aura and could get hemiplegic migraines. The symptoms are more or less spot on for a hemiplegic. It's not that common from what I understand, but saying "true migraines" rarely cause these type of issues feels incorrect from what I've read.
September 2nd, 2015 at 11:07 PM ^
Did he get that migraine because he was playing school for the first time?

September 2nd, 2015 at 11:08 PM ^
man, what is up with Urbs players getting migraines?
September 2nd, 2015 at 11:15 PM ^
Severe migraines are a side effect of steroids, so maybe that's it. Just kidding. Kind of.
September 2nd, 2015 at 11:09 PM ^
That sounds hellish.
September 2nd, 2015 at 11:09 PM ^
As someone that has suffered from migraines since the age of 12, I hope it passes soon. It's something I wouldn't wish on anybody. There are different types but the only way I can explain it is after having your vision go blurry or even completely white, you become so sensitive to light that you have to retreat to a dark room, cool room and wait to throw up as your eyes hurt so bad that it feels like someone is trying to remove them with a spoon
Imagine trying to explain that to a couple of parents that had zero history of migraines and no clue what was going on.
September 2nd, 2015 at 11:28 PM ^
Except is had them since I could remember and my mother's side had them so at least she understood. When I moved to my Dad's he truly thought I was making it up. I'd have to chop wood with a migraine, practice football/wrestling, etc. One day I puked about 10x and he finally realized something was up. I still get them and nothing helps. I wouldn't wish them on anyone.
September 2nd, 2015 at 11:39 PM ^
I typically get 1-2 a year to this day and the only thing I have found that makes a dent is vicodin. Good luck having that handy when your vision goes white.
September 2nd, 2015 at 11:48 PM ^
but it's not a contest as 1-2 a year is still horror! That's almost scarier s you never know when it's coming. I at least know that about once a week I'll be out of commission. As for the pain, for some reason painkillers (one of the last options given for relief) only made them worse. Crazy, huh? I'd tried MaxAlt (that was it's name, iirc) a while back and it kinda helped but I can't get a doctor to understand that. Each one always has their "fix" prescription that doesn't work at all. Good luck to you, too! They suck and make life so worse. PS: Did you ever have a period of life where they went away? Age 15-20 they just went away.....21 they came back with a vengeance. Worse each year since. We've looked at everything so they think it was hormonal.
