From everyone in the know I've talked to, one of the best assistants Michigan has ever had. I think we've seen how he can work wonders with what we've now discovered hasn't been a world of talent, developing what he's got. We could do a lot worse.

Strong hasn't signed his contract at UL yet, but the chances of UF training a head coach on the job are slim and none.

I guess some Florida guys were saying Strong was already passed up post Zook Era (he stayed on DC, but Meyer was hired as HC). They said in the Bowl Game between Zook and Meyer, Strong was the acting HC and it was pretty poorly coached. They figure the Florida AD had already determined Strong was not the coach of the future for Florida.
