OT: Favorite TV show as a kid
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Fantastic show.
TMNT and it wasn't close.

Nickelodeon when they still had the good shows, live shows and game shows.
Rugrats, Catdog, Hey Arnold, Rocko, Rocket Power for the cartoons.
The live/game shows like GUTS, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Figure It Out, Finders Keepers, Double Dare, Slime Time.
Those were the days. Those game shows were all on Nick GaS, which has been dormant for a long, long time now. Poor Nickelodeon Studios......long gone. They buried a time capsule there and will unearth it in 2046 IIRC since it'll be 50 years after. Makes me sad.
Those who watched Legends of the Hidden Temple will get it-
Can you claim reruns?
Guts was on in the 90s.
Nick GaS was the channel it aired on for at least a decade after.
I'm saying yes since I grew up watching that channel as did many people I know. Everyone knows the AggroCrag my age because they all watched Nick GaS as a kid in the late 90s/early 2000s.
Rugrats!!!!

You must have been nostalgic from an early age. I agree with those (from a few years before you) and will add Boy Meets World for the valuable life lessons it provided. Thanks for everything, Mr. Feeney.

Blue Barracudas
I don't think I ever saw the Blue Barracudas get to the temple. Ever. They always seemed to not get past the trivia stage on the steps.
Also, how awesome was the temple run music they played?
Also I just saw an episode of Nick Arcade. Had totally forgotten about that show.

Was the real deal! Youtube has plenty of old episodes, here is one:
because I wasn't allowed to have video games as a kid so that show was my dream. You're IN the video game man
This is a cool read for anyone who liked that show. Silver Snake 4lyfe.

To be quite honest though, I preferred The Family Channel's Masters of the Maze. It had 100% more Slater.
Silver snakes
I was all about the Blue Barracudas
Doug,My Brother & Me,All That,Keenan & Kel and I was complete. Those no worry days were the shit!
Followed closely by The Monkeys
Home Improvement, Family Matters and then anything that was on Cartoon Network. So many shows I liked I couldn't even name them all.
Soupy Sales. I ran home every day and had tomato soup and a hot dog with him and the gang. White Fang, Black Tooth, him opening the door to a pie in the face. Suppose this shows my age somewhat.
Also shows you are from Southeast Mi. We didn't have Soupy on the west side of the state

Actually saw Soupy do stand up at a comedy club in GR in early 80s. He was profane, obnoxious, and hilarious. It was awesome. It was like seeing Bob Saget stand up after Full House

Johnny Ginger hosted 3 stooges films and came on at 7:30 AM. I think I left for school around 8AM.
My favorite lunch with Soupy was Chef Boyardee Ravioli.

I think maybe I'm a lot older than most of you.
My favorite was the original series, too. Watched it in reruns starting about 1974, on at 4:00 on channel 4 in Denver, right after school everyday. I can still name half the episodes by the dialogue alone...
And, yes, we're older than the Rugrats / Nickelodeon crowd. My kids watched those shows!

Original trek is actually one of my favorite shows, as well, despite having not been born until well after the show originally aired. Just s great show. Only time I ever saw my grandfather (a legit tough guy who was a welder and WWII vet) cry was when, during the subsequent movies, they killed Spock.
Leave It To Beaver
Was on after school. I am old.

Loved Leave It to Beaver. Eddie Haskell was the BEST. Sucking up to Mrs. Cleaver and then being a douche to the Beav. Classic.
I loved You Can't Do That on Television.
I loved that show growing up. One of my favorite episodes:
Ah- I hadn't seen it in ages! It holds up surprisingly well.
A huge +1 to you!
How about, Not Necessarily the News, on HBO. Had a lot of older humor I'm sure I didn't understand at my age, but it had plenty of jokes I did get and loved it.
remember them with rich hall?
CLUMFERT n. The invisible extra step at the top and bottom of a
stair-case. Usually materializes when one is carrying a large bag of
groceries.
EASTROTURF n. The plastic "grass" used to line easter baskets
ELBONICS n. The actions of two people maneuvering for one arm rest
in a movie theater.
ELECELLERATION n. The mistaken notion that the more you press an
elevator button the faster it will arrive.
EXPRESSHOLES n. People who try to sneak more than the "8 items or
less" into the express checkout line.
And Wonder Years
I got to agree. Wonder years was a favorite as it gave me a glimpse into my Dad's life. But before that I got to go A-Team. No team was more domiinant on TV.
Courage The Cowardly Dog, even though it scared the shit out of me. Lol
That show had some dark humor for being on Cartoon Network. This creepy ass guy gave me nightmares for awhile.
Nightmares for days, my friend. Nightmares for daysssss.
Then old school WWF
good call. forgot about MASK
Was going to mention MASK. Was also a big fan later of Gargoyle's and Dark Wing Duck
I don't know about one favorite, but A-Team, Fall Guy, silver spoons, Webster, were some of the better that I remember.
Silver spoons was sweet
