I got screwed by the Universe (AGAIN!) this weekend. I had the Chiefs at -2.5 favorites in a three team parlay that would have paid nearly $200.00. This was the only game I lost in that parlay and it took TWO kickoff returns for TD's for me to lose. Double F*ck! At this point, I just assume that I was Adolf Hitler in my previous life and this is Karma pimp-slapping me for my prior transgressions.

Whatever his faults as a head coach in the college ranks, Weis hasn't coached Quinn since he graduated. I'm not sure Quinn would have started at USC, either. Like Cassell, had he gone to USC Quinn would have been a backup behind Leinart for most of his career. In 2006 (and 2007 if he'd redshirted), he'd have had a chance to beat out John David Booty. This is not a given. While Quinn has had a better pro career, Booty was also a highly regarded prospect coming out of high school and it's entirely possible that Booty would have won the starting job. But no, Quinn has not looked good. If you look at his stats line, all but one of his touchdowns came against two teams: 4 against the Lions (surprise) and 3 against the Chargers (actually, that is something of a surprise).

I am a Browns fan...somehow they manage even to screw up the draft potential. I understand your pain in Detroit as Lions fans because the Browns are run by people who *might* (likely are) less competent than Millen. At least I can look forward to signing day.
