Good Article on Roundtree
After the Spring Game I was real pumped for Roundtree, and I kept looking for him early on. I was real glad to see him break out towards the end. Forcier to Roundtree could be a real tough combo to stop next year.

Nick Koenigsknecht as a quotable is a winner for me.

Why was he never used at the QB position???

Because then he'd never get to punt.

False. See: Tate's Pooch Kick. Only Zoltan would do it better.

Challenge Braylon? Let's not get ahead of ourselves here... While I would like to see it, I don't know if Richrod's offense would be best for a receiver to be challenging that mark, and is probably best suited to be as balanced as it could be. But here's to eternal optimism!

over a career... there are too many guys who will be getting the ball, whereas Braylon was the go-to guy for most of his career.
Braylon had 3 catches his freshman season, but then exploded to 67, 85, and then 92 catches his final three seasons.
Regardless, Roundtree looks like he's going to be a good one for this offense.

How crazy would it be to look out on the field and see a super slot-ninja sporting the number 1 jersey??? Its a crazy world we live in right now, but I think i like it...

I see Roy being really solid. It it more difficult however in my mind to see a receiver with his frame being truly dominant. Can someone provide examples of a 170 pound wr turning into a true stud? I think Braylon was so good because of exceptional strength as well. Good luck to Roy.

Marvin Harrison: 5"11", 175 lbs. Pretty close in height/weight, great route runner, great hands. . . if Roy can be anything close to what Harrison was at 'Cuse, that would be outstanding.

Let's not forget the Original #1 Jersey, Anthony Carter. I was a freshman at the same time he was, and saw him around campus a few times. He was not a big guy. Skinniest calves you'll ever see. Maybe 170 lbs as a freshman. Gave us all some great memories!

Not an exact comparison, but DeSean Jackson? He's a mega-speedster, but no bigger than Roundtree. Also, Manningham? He was about that size coming in if I remember correctly.

I too was at the Spring Game, and was surprised not to see more of Roy early in the season.
He may not be a freak athletically, but he catches everything thrown his way and isn't afraid to go over the middle.
In short, he's a Purdue WR.

if he was given the ball more at the MSU game they probably could have won, given he caught the game tieing catch

I was very impressed with some of the stuff Odoms was doing this season. His blocking and ability to adjust to the play were fantastic. Roy's end of season breakout was also awesome to watch. How could I pick?!
