Bonjour: Benjamin St-Juste

Michigan picks up a French Canadian CB commit!  Either for 2016 or 2017.

#Michigan has picked up a commitment from Montréal (QC) Cégep du Vieux cornerback Benjamin St-Juste (@BenjWolfpack24). Could be 2016 or 2017

Because of differences in high school requirements between Canada and The United States, St-Juste doesn’t yet know which class he will be in

Those highlights are really old so hopefully he got a lot better. Those weren't impressive at all, he looked like an average kid playing football, so maybe that's impressive by Canadian standards. Hopefully someone finds something more recent.

I thought of Louis Antoine de Sainte-Just. The Angel of Death was one of Robespierre's acolytes in his Reign of Terror. Let's hope this St. Just with an E helps inaugurate a Reign of Terror against the opposition.

Now all the recruiting sites have to write up profiles for him too. Excepting ESPN. They may get around to it eventually, but they don't seem to worry about keeping up.

He had been discussed a bit on the Rivals board by a member who seemed to know quite a bit about him. Said member also thought he'd likely be a commit. Voilà!

6'3" corner?  That's fairly rare, isn't it?

I wonder if this is another case where Harbaugh is after the athlete ... the position to be played named later?

Is he an elite athlete? I watched his video. He didn't look quick, explosive, or have tremendous closing speed.

This is another weird one. I don't think Ohio State or MSU is too worried about this one. Chalk this one up to the "trust the coaches" meme
