OT- Favorite Karate flick
On this Father's Day I thought about my uncle. He was a strong father figure for me while I was a kid. He introduced me to UM football, Savage Sword of Conan comic books and karate flicks. 3 of my favorite Karate flicks are Super Ninjas, Shaolin vs. Lama and Ninja Scroll (animated). What are your favorite Karate flicks, MGoBlog?
The scenes in the original Pink Panther movies with Cato and Clouseau doing battle. The one in "The Pink Panther Strikes Again" where Clouseau puts on a Hunchback of Notre Dame costume at the end of the fight is the best.
Pink Panther Strikes Again is one of the best and most underrated comedic movies of all time, and those fights with Kato are indeed epic.
I could not agree with this post more strongly. Well done, sir...
with it's 'intense' martial arts scene.
Right up there with Sponge Bob and his Ky Rah Tay...

Classic!
Karate Kid no doubt about it...
Sweep the leg!
Strike first, strike hard, no mercy...
Put him in a body baggggg!
on our Beta. It's weird, but after a while, Daniel comes off as kind of a dick, and outside of Johnny, the Cobra Kai guys were kind of funny. I mean, the whole kicking his ass while he can barely stand up, and driving him off a cliff on his bike were bad, but Ali could have done much better (and turns out she did in number 2 movie).
Karate or martial arts? Karate kid is the only karate movie I know..
Martial arts, enter the dragon or IP Man
Karate flicks and Martial arts are all good. I'm partial to the movies made by the Shaw Brothers and Ocean Shores.
Wax On, Wax Off
Ip Man has to be my favorite. And you can't go wrong with Bruce either.
Not karate, but I'm assuming OP is looking for martial arts in general. I highly recommend this one. It's in Netflix, too.
He could have at least said "Kung Fu" flicks. None of what he listed involves Karate...
Enter The Dragon. Bruce,Saxon,Kelly

The Karate Kid. The psychological harassment Daniel Larusso had to endure was priceless.
In that case, I would say Ip Man.
That was a terrific movie.
Behind Enter the Dragon
Because of this post and the clip it contains.
Liked it. Thanks for sharing.
The Foot Fist Way, easily the best.
I can't even believe that's something that's real
Three Ninjas!
Rocky, Tum Tum and Colt!

I've never seen that movie, but a co-worker/vendor was the producer of that movie back in the day. It was supposedly a huge hit.
Pretty good, as sequels go, though major Elisabeth Shue deficit
master of the flying guillotine or five deadly venoms.
2nd Five Deadly Venoms.
Kung Fu Hustle is great.
watch it all day long that how awesome it is...
Shaolin vs. Lama. Fearless gets my vote.
Enjoy!
Easily Jet Li's best film.
Kung Pao: Enter the Fist

It has one of the funniest opening moments of any movie I have seen, especially because I was not sure I should have been laughing. Rest of the movie is good too.
Believe it or not, there are some excellent martial arts moments in Netflix's Marco Polo. Really good series, too.
I would second this series being good for the first season. Netflix has put out some quality shows.

Lots of martial art movies to chooae from, but I like the fighting scenes in Swordsman 2. A few gender twists go with it.
The Last Dragon. Sho'nuff
Billy Ray Valentine demonstrating the "Quart of Blood" technique has my vote for greatest karate man scene.
You beat me to it, upvote. My favorite movie and an awesome scene....
You told me you cut the dude!
The 36th Chamber of Shaolin. Highly recommend. I hear Wu-Tang Clan also made a similar album.
Keanu Reeves knows Kung Fu.
"woa"
Tarantino's homage to all of those films.
