If you don't know how to embed maybe don't just throw up a full post without researching it? It is very simple to do, and has been discussed here on the site many times.

1. For the YouTube video find the embed code (should be under share tab) and copy it.

2, Switch to plain text editor for your post on MGoBlog.

3. Paste in embed code.

4. Switch back to rich text editor and you should see a box with the word IFRAME in the middle. That means the video's set.

5. Write whatever else you want and click save.

I turned the game off.

One of my best friends from school(who has become my best friend since) had just gotten home from serving in Afghanistan and I was hosting him in my home, seeing him for the first time in many years. I had the game on, but I get famously grumpy when my teams are losing, especially UM basketball, as it's the sport closest to my heart.  When things looked like they were getting out of hand I took action to make sure I wasn't going to be a shitty host.  I didn't check the score until OT.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Watched it with a bunch of MSU people. I had conceded defeat and then we started to make the run at the end and I got excited again. As soon as the shot left his fingers I jumped up yelling No! then it went in and everyone was just in disbelief. 'Twas a good night.

I was at a bar called South in LA, which has unfortunately since closed. It was definitely the best Michigan bar in town and there were several hundred people in there just going crazy with the comeback. Probably as with most places, it was more disbelief than anything as once we were down big most people had just transitioned over to drinking heavily...

Almost felt sorry for the Kansas fans at the bar... but then again why were they there?

I was working at my sports bar. I was cut and michigan was down a lot so I stopped watching and started cashing out. When I was done, GR3 scored like 5 consecutive points and brought it close so I sat at the bar and watched it happen.

Gotta say, I'm glad cashing out took awhile as I would had left if I was done a few minutes earlier.

I was in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.  I tried and tried to find the game somewhere in the hotel, but no luck.  (Never schedule a vacation in a foreign country during tournament time when your team is good.)

So we took a cab into town for dinner.  What will be will be.  After dinner, I was able to find a sports bar that had the game on one of the TVs.  There were around 2 minutes left and we were down like 12 points.  OK, this is over.  Where can we get ice cream?

But the team kept coming back.  I settled in and ordered a beer.  Dos Equis lager in the green bottle.  Refreshing.

Every time it looked over, we would come back, courtesy of Kansas and Elijah Johnson as much as us.  Kansas misses a foul shot and we're down three.  Trey drives up the floor . . . and then launches a rocket from damn near half court.  Trey, Nooooo . . . . YESSSSS!!!

The place was quiet until then, but then it went nuts.  More people were watching than I thought.

Overtime was intense, yet just a formality.  I knew we were going to win, Michigan knew we were going to win, and most importantly, Kansas knew we were going to win.  I ordered another beer.

After the game, I hoisted my seven year-old daughter on my shoulders and we walked down the very crowded street with her shouting at the top of her lungs: "Michigan!, clap, clap, clap . . . partying!!  Michigan!, clap, clap, clap . . . partying!!"

We went for "Elite Eight Ice Cream" at the Playa del Carmen Dairy Queen.  Ever since then, she gets Elite Eight Ice Cream when we make it that far.

Given the setting and the situation, it really was one of the coolest Michigan sports experiences I've had.

We also made the Final Four when I was down there, but that game was over by the time I was even able to check the score.  We connected in Atlanta on the way home and I remember looking out the window of the plane at the Georgia Dome as we were landing thinking "We're going to be playing there in the Final Four in just a few days.  Amazing."

Was watching at my place when I lived in NY. Honestly believed the game was over, so I had it on mute, and was flipping back and forth between other games. Probably turned it back on for good with a minute left with Burke and GRIII were making it interesting.

Was pacing back and forth for the entire last minute yelling at my TV screen. When Burke sank that shot, I think everyone on my apartment floor could hear me scream.

I was watching the game at a classmate's house and drowning my sorrows with my very first Oberon. I proceeded to spill half of the beer when Trey hit The Shot, but I think that's a justifiable reason to waste Oberon.

I loved this hilarious Kansas Sweet Sixteen prediction from Grantland.  Keep in mind, this was before the Kansas - Michigan game, in which Elijah Johnson: grabbed McGary’s privates, missed the free throw that led to "The Trey", and missed a runner that would have won it for Kansas:

Prediction:  Bill Self will become so enraged with Elijah Johnson that his toupee will fall off.

Self and Johnson have an interesting relationship, and by “interesting,” I mean that before every game, I’m pretty sure Self pulls Johnson aside and gives him the following speech:

“I’ve worked my ass off to get to where I am today. I spent seven years coaching at small schools in Tulsa just to get the chance to coach at a big-time program. Now I’m here. I have multiple luxury automobiles, I own real estate all over the greater Lawrence area, and women throughout the Midwest want to lay with me. Look me in the eye, Elijah. I have it all, I tell you. IT. ALL. And I’m not about to let some shithead like you ruin it for me.

God as my witness, if the other team’s point guard outplays you tonight, I will end you. Your corpse will spend eternity in the crawl space of my summer home, and when guests ask, ‘What’s that smell?” I’ll tell them it’s the scent of mediocrity. It’s the smell of a guy who wasn’t half the man that Tyshawn, Sherron, or Mario were. Look at me, Elijah. I’ll tell them it’s the smell of a man who fell short of success one too many times.

“Alright, good talk. Remember: Just go out there and play your hardest, and everything will take care of itself. Go get ’em, buckaroo.”

I was right under the basket he made it into. Well, a few feet behind it, but the ball was falling almost toward me as it came down. (That's how I remember it) Pretty cool moment.

In Blondie's bar in NYC with some friends who are sports fans but not Michigan fans.  They were all giving me condolence comments as I was losing hope and then the GRIII and Trey show took over...

I unfortunately call the state of Ohio home. My wife and I were on a spring break trip up highway 1. Every night Michigan played we made certain to hit a bar up the coast, unfortunately she's also a MSU fan so we watched their games as well.

Anyways, we're at a 2 story bar overlooking the coast and I'm the only Michigan clad patron in the building. Fortunately for me the bartender loved that and wouldn't stop bringing shots after Trey out down the dagger.

Thankfully I was in a strange land far far away from where I'm from, for i have never been so emotional and loud during a game in a public place.

Great freaking memory! Thank you Trey.

Front row in the third level of Cowboy Stadium.   I was with Michigan and Florida friends and sat next to a Kansas fan by himself.   We talked at half time about what to expect in the second half and I explicitly told him that Trey Burke would stop passing and start putting up some points on the board.   At some point during the second half we joked about overtime.   After the game, he just gave me his ticket for the elite 8 game.

In some random Indianapolis hotel with the cycling team the night before our race at Marian University. We went nuts, no one else on our floor understood, it was great.

My Grandma's funeral was that morning and after the service we went and finished cleaning out her house. I came up with the idea to go out to eat to watch the game to get our minds of everything going on.
When Trey made that shot my mom started bawling her eyes out. It was an emotional day but Trey made it so much better.

At Sapori Trattoria, an Italian restaurant in Lakeview Chicago. It's a delicious place. Was on a date and convinced my date to watch the comeback at the little bar there. Bartender was a Kansas fan. I remember telling him I was skeptical we could come back down 10, but he said he wasn't confident with any Kansas lead. He was right. I watched overtime on the screen over my dates shoulder. It was a wonderful night.

I was on the Westside, oh the irony, at one of my dudes house. We were all set to go to the bar before the end. We stayed and watched a helluva comeback. GR3 came up big down the stretch!

Is there an archive feature on this site where we can read the front-page articles from that great tourney run?  I'd love to see them again without having to click back 279 pages.

I was sitting in my man cave thinking that Trey launching one from 30 feet out wasn't a great shot - a second later I was no longer sitting, or being quite.

Was in Orlando hanging out with a bunch of friends watching the game outside around a campfire. Was getting pretty down and then when we started making the comeback I tried not to get too excited because I knew the odds of us completing the comeback and getting the win were pretty low. When he took the shot of course I yelled "why would you take that shot!?" After he made it all I could do was tell and know that I may be witnessing one of the greatest comebacks in Michigan Basketball history

At my then 12-year old's little league game burning my entire month's data allowance watching via the NCAA March Madness app.

The Trey happened as we were walking to the car.

We watched the rest of the game on my iPad in our car in the parking lot, then went home and watched the whole thing together.

My father had stopped watching with about 5 minutes left, since Kansas had a solid lead and it wasn't looking good. I remember yelling the score down to the basement as we were creeping closer. He finally came up when we were down by about 5 with 20 seconds left.

I still get excited when I see the shot. A contested 30 footer that required an amazing screen by McGary.

That team was so much fun to watch. I'm not sure we will see another Beilein team THAT talented and explosive in the starting 5, but I think we will have teams that are one or two notches below that the next few years that will find success.

In the stands behind the basket surrounded by Kansas fans that thought the game was over a few minutes earlier. What a euphoric moment!

Beach house on the Pacific Ocean. Jumping up and down while my family was doing the typical beach things. They came in a little while later and thought I had gone nuts.
