michigan QBs

Sheridan and threet are horrible. Sheridan went back to his crapy self. receivers were open and he throws them 10 yards over their heads. it just seems like Forcier or Beaver could of practice for 1 week and go out there and win. i dont no y feagin wasnt in there but i rather have him start against ohio state then either of these 2.

like that without watching forcier and beaver first? i mean, i tend to agree, but it's still not something you can say till you actually see them play. and youtube highlights don't count because i bet you threet can find highlights of his high school games that make him look great too.

It's obvious (again) that we will have a new QB next year. Threet and Sheridan are not athletic enough. I still belidve Carlos Brown would have been the QB this year if he did not have a broken hand in spring ball.

Threet's pick with 9+ minutes to go in the game and Sheridans succession of incomplete passes during the last two drives were difficult to watch.

Who starts next week? Pull a name out of a hat?

We can all agree that we have some of the most consistently inconsistent QB play not only in the Big 10, but the nation.

Rich Rod will use Feagan against ohio state and has been saving him just for that game.... What else does he have to lose? We haven't seen him throw the ball yet so every team would assume that he is going to run with the ball. But against osu he will throw if started. Just my opinion.

Tate & Beaver will be 1 & 1A in whatever order. They both will play in '09. Threet & Sheridan will fight for 3 & 4 and hopefully never see the field again. Feagin will be a WR. Cone will be on his last year of tying up a schollie with no possibilty of helping the team.

'09 will be a down year again but we should make some lower bowl. 7 wins seems like a major order today but maybe some of these guys will grow up. We have major weaknesses at S and LB. Dl will be rebuilding. If Graham leaves early, the DL could suck. The WRs have been very unimpressive except for Mathews. Odoms was awful today, doesn't play well in cold weather obviously. Minor can be a leader at RB if he can stay healthy. There are a lot of other RBs who might be able to step up but no Javon Ringer. The OL will be better but will struggle against big strong front 7s. Watch what happens next week.

O$U will reload in '09 with TP surrounded by all kinds of young talent on both O and D.

Recruiting this year is vital. Team needs a lot of talent.

Supposedly Ricky Barnum or Patrick Omameh (or both) are progressing well and will probably start next year. I'm guessing Ferrara will most likely lose his job. The line has come a long way since the beginning of the year, especially in opening holes for the run game. I actually think the line will be one our biggest strengths over the next few years.

ya i dont no y rr dont strt cone sheridan horribul thret horibl faygin horibl my gramma could of play qb for mich with 1 maybe 2 weeks practice

Come on, seriously. We know the QBs aren't adequate. Making absurd claims like "a high school quarterback could practice in this offense for one week and do better" doesn't really add anything.

Sorry, this was a real team loss. Even Zoltan let us down.

But Sheridan's 8 for 29 was horrible even with a couple of drops.

What was with the play calls? No bubble screens to speak of? Put Threet in and he mostly runs even though Sheridan is obviously the better runner.

Oh well, oh hell!

It should have been 8 for 29 with 3 INTs. His first two throws both should have been picked, actually.

And of course, just as Threet seemed to be getting into a rhythm he got hurt again and that was the end of that.

One positive, the offensive line does seem to be massively better than the beginning of the year. That's definitely something to build on next year.

Is there really something to get upset about here? We lost because our QB's played poorly. Is that a shock at this point? Is it surprising?

Look, the O-Line played very well, again. Brown played well. The defense, largely, played well.
