The article is pretty short but it discuss the possilbility of this move for Max.
"I have spoken to Coach Wardle and there is an interest to potentially come," he said. "I'm currently just weighing my other options."

Investors? Possibly you.
never heard of it.
We had a road game there two or three years ago
Michigan hosted a preseason NIT game against Bradley in 1986 when they had Hersey Hawkins. Hawkins scored 37 but Michigan won. It was a lot of fun because of the novelty of the preseason NIT back then.

and considering that UM was the 2-time defending B10 champs, it was amazing as Crisler was only about half full.
Missouri Valley Conference. They've been in the tournament 1 or 2 times in the past decade.

Well, he is from Peoria so it makes sense.

I was really hoping Max would stay.
I just don't see room for him...
He certainly would provide some frontcourt depth next year. Though, if he is talking with other schools, the decision has seemingly been made.
If I am not mistaken, Bradley is in Peoria, which happens to be the hometown of Max, of course, so that's actually kind of cool if he does end up there, to be able to play and finish out his eligibility basically right down the street from the house he grew up in. Wherever he ends up, good luck to him - he will definitely be missed here.
i'm surprised he isn't getting a head start in an elite grad school in his field, and balance that with potential playing time. hell, he could probably get good minutes at northwestern next year.
i get that there is the quirky transfer rule needing a field of study not offered at current school.
be large enough to accomodate Max's calves?
I need that laugh!! +1000 pts

It would be a tight fit.
That's (possibly) what she said?
Wait, no calves-themed gifs available?
One of the two college basketball games I attended this year was Bradley/Indiana State (couldn't turn down the free 3rd row seats). The other was IL/Mich. We live in Peoria so I've see this program struggle quite a bit in the last 9 or so years. They were awful this year, probably why the coach was fired after only 4 years. They didn't even look good in warm ups. I'm sure Max immediately becomes their best player. As was said a few posts up he is from here and I'm sure playing his last season in front of a true home crowd appeals to him. Also not sure what his major is, but Bradley has a really good engineering school. They aren't on par with Michigan (who is??) but it's a pretty solid school all around.
I think he would be great as a chip. Young talented Mac team. Like bugs that can shoot a bit. Versatile. Go fire up chips!
Bugs?
What's up, doc?
is gonna have to be moved for the statue of Max Bielfeldt's Calves.
I believe this is best for him. He'll make a great addition to Bradley and hopefully have them in the running for the MVC title.
The CALVES must stay in Ann Arbor....
....And these ones can stay right where they are in East Landfill....
Looks kind of like Dantonio, amirite?
No Judge, the cow looks much happier than Mork ever did.
That's why we scheduled them on the road a couple of years ago. Does anyone know if that's still true?
EDIT: Looked it up myself, and rediscovered that Patrick Beilein an assistant for the Jazz.
I'd forgotten about that.
Max might be able to start there and its his hometown. Lets hope we find a suitable replacement that can help us next year and beyond.
Just saw an article in the Peoria Journal Star that Bradley's basketball team is losing a MINIMUM of 6 players and maybe as many as 9 due to the coaching change. This doesn't include their lone senior who exhausted his eligibility.
