OT: More evidence Michael Rosenberg is mentally handicapped.
I actually saw this linked on another Blog I visit (did not visit freep site therefore no link), but this is the title of Le Douches most recent art work...

Ppppppplease. If this guys was just some average golfer that barely makes the cut for the tour......maybe. However, this guy is bigger then golf and he represents so many companies/products through endorsements and makes $$$$$$$$$$$$ of them......I think he owes his fans.
Rosenberg......with all of these sports writers out of work how in the hell do you still have a job!?
I really don't miss that site and that stupid ass questionaire they ask you to fill out regarding (age, zip code, etc.)

I don't think any celebrity/sports figure owes anyone an explanation into their personal or family life. Just because he's good at golf doesn't mean we need to know if he's cheating on his wife, or not.
The guy can't go anywhere, or do anything in private, at least let him have a private family life.

Who gives a shit what Tiger was doing? Honestly? He "owes" his fans max effort on the golf course and in practice because he's paid to entertain. I don't give two shits about what he does at 2 AM... unless he's child-smuggling at that time of night... but I doubt it.

While I don't disagree that Rosenberg may be mentally handicapped, I agree with "If it's not about golf, Tiger Woods owes us no explanation."
The dude got in a car accident, and probably feels like an idiot. I know when I got in an accident a few years ago, I sure did.

There will be much more to the story than a car accident. On a hunch, that Scandinavian broad was whuppin' that ass with a golf club after he got caught cheating. I don't care what he does, and don't care for him as it is, it's just good comedy.

I agree that he doesn't owe anyone anything. He can keep his life private as much as he want to. It just makes me curious as to why he is doing so in this case. Him not saying anything about what happened just makes people speculate wildly about affairs or alcohol or whatever, so if that isn't what happened, why not kill it? He doesn't HAVE to, he doesn't owe us anything, but why not protect your self image you have so carefully crafted unless what happened was something really bad.

Personally, I think Woods deserves privacy in matters concerning his family as I am sure most of us would want. However, he did open the door to the public when he started showing up on my TV telling me to buy Gatorade, Nike, Tag etc...... If you start pitching products and use your squeaky clean image and million dollar smile don't be surprised if people want to know more about you.

Tiger's income is only partially based on his ability at golf. Once he became the public face of some many products and receive so much compensation for lending his likeness to things such as consulting firms, beverages, sporting goods, etc, his personal life became much less personal.
These were trades that he willingly made as part of his endorsement deals. And i would suspect that each of these deals has a personal behavior clause in each.

His personal behavior is really between him and the companies he endorses. If they want to bag him a la Michael Phelps that is their decision. The people at large can make a free market choice if they want to use those products or not.
You have a point that it might be good for his pocketbook to put on a better PR campaign (which is what I think people have been trying to say), but he "owes" nothing to customers. They bought a product, they didn't make charitable donations to Woods' college fund or personal stipend.

Sincerely, I a little confused by the strength of your reaction, or exactly what you are saying. But I will assume that you see my two jokes as an attempt to hijack the thread. Since hijacking irritates me too, I will duly note your feedback, even though it was not my intent to do any hijacking.
As you can see by my other post, I did already express my own irritation with MR Frankly, my irritation and disgust with him has gone beyond the point of exhaustion and into the realm of the comedic. At the same time, the title of the thread, that "MR is mentally handicapped" did not seem to me to be so serious as it apparently was to you.

It's the same one he and Jim Carty have had about RR, although I guess you can say they've been consistent. Tiger, as well as every other pro athlete/celebrity/public figure, owes the public shit when it comes to details about his personal life. I hope more people realize what a scumbag weasel Rosenberg really is.
UPDATE: I need to read things more carefully in the future. Rosenberg is still a scumbag weasel, but he was right in this article. I assumed that the OP was saying that Rosenberg was an idiot because he had the audacity to suggest that TW owed his fans an explanation. Apparently this is not the case: Rosenberg is the one who correctly said that TW owes the fans shit, while the OP is the one saying that TW owes the fans an explanation for whatever personal issues he has, with which I can't even begin to express how strongly I disagree.
This was Jim Carty's attitude regarding Lloyd Carr and RR, that they owed him an explanation about everything.

I have never understood why people are so caught up in finding out details regarding the rich and famous. Does it really matter what he did to any of us?
If he broke the law in some way I am sure the police will get to the bottom of it (that may be giving some police forces a bit too much credit, I know) and he will be held accountable.
I expect my private life to be private, why should we expect his to be different?
