Taking care of my newborn daughter so there really aren't starts and ends to the day anymore. Her drink of choice is warm milk every two to three hours. Mine is coffee as needed. Hopefully we can go a little longer between warm milks so her mom can get a little sleep.
January 17th, 2015 at 7:08 AM ^

Good point. Her mom is a buckeye and she was born durning the championship game so the in-laws will try to point to some define prophecy but I think she came to fight buckeyes. Her first word shall be "hail".
One thing the good guys will always have is in state tuition.

Coffee for me. In the ER with my son with a fever and abdominal pain. Just waiting for CT results. Ugh...
January 17th, 2015 at 7:32 AM ^
tough way to start your weekend.
January 17th, 2015 at 7:48 AM ^
Thanks. ED staff was awesome, considering my son was scared shitless. I didn't think he would make through the CT, but the nurse stayed with him and did a great job of talking him through it. He's 5, so I can only imagine what he was thinking when he saw the CT.
January 17th, 2015 at 7:55 AM ^
CT scan negative. Just have to sign the D/C papers then home.
January 17th, 2015 at 8:03 AM ^
that'll put the weekend in perspective. like many on this blog, we have all been to the ER for our various little ones so we know how difficult that can be. way to answer the call to action.
January 17th, 2015 at 8:05 AM ^
Glad to hear it. Tell your little guy to hang in there.
And I can relate about nurses. The last time I was in the hospital (ruptured appendix), the nurses were the best thing. I had one holding my hand in pre-op, so I can only imagine how scary it was for a five-year-old.
January 17th, 2015 at 8:40 AM ^
Glad it's nothing serious
January 17th, 2015 at 9:21 AM ^

January 17th, 2015 at 7:40 AM ^
it sounds like your morning beverage would taste a bit better if it had vodka.
