What if Tebow had come to Michigan?

Submitted by M-Wolverine on

We were pretty high on his list of teams, he obviously liked our QB coach...what if Urban had insulted his mother or something, and he had picked us?

Spent a year redshirted, then a year as the running QB behind Henne...played last year, this season, next...

How are things different?

that after Tebow scored his fifth touchdown today in his last game at the Swamp, he announced he was foregoing the NFL draft in order to instead ascend to heaven. The clouds then opened, a bright aura appeared around him and he rose into the ether.

Well, at least we can say we beat a deity during his Heisman year.

That was great live tv...the best part was when God tried to tackle Tebow...Tebow just ran right through that weak arm-tackling and took it into Heaven's endzone (incidentally, the endzone in heaven has Michigan painted in). Then he banished God to hell for poor tackling. And now he has taken over as the Lord Almighty himself and eradicated all disease, war, the Ohio State Buckeyes and installed a playoff system into college football. He's working on trying to save Charlie Weis' job, but he isn't that powerful yet.

They just discussed him visiting Michigan back in the day right when I opened this...I'm guessing most people on this blog wouldn't hate Tebow if this had occurred. Just a hunch. That being said, he didn't pick us and now it is annoying as hell to watch him play.

Justin Boren spends 15 minutes with him, which changes his life forever.

He's convinced Michigan's family values to be impeccable, the Freep never writes that story to sell more papers, and they go out of business sooner.

Damn, what could have been.

Tebow would be Jesus and Boren is the Judas.

We go on to win the National Championship in RichRod's first year and start a 10 year BCS National Championship winning streak.

It's interesting to think that we wanted him badly, because it doesn't seem like he would have been a great fit in Lloyd's offense. Would Lloyd have changed the offense to fit his talents?

I'm not sure if we would have used him as a running QB behind Henne. Lloyd wasn't into situational QB usage. He probably wouldn't have played until 2008 (Henne's injuries aside). It would have been fun to watch him the past two years instead of going with freshmen and a walk-on. Oh well.
