You haven't spent enough time on Capstone Report.
November 27th, 2009 at 3:08 PM ^
Rabid, I suppose. Stupid also, as they ran Tuberville out of town.
November 27th, 2009 at 3:11 PM ^
Other than the fact that Alabama wont be going to the NC game?
November 27th, 2009 at 3:18 PM ^
'Bama loses today and then beats UF next week, Cincy also loses next week to Pitt and then we have Boise / TCU title game!
And then the world collapses
November 27th, 2009 at 3:22 PM ^
Do you think Cincy would fall out of the BCS if they lost to Pitt?
November 27th, 2009 at 3:30 PM ^
Would UF if they lost to 'Bama? or vice versa. To be honest, I don't know
November 27th, 2009 at 3:33 PM ^
I'm pretty sure both SEC teams would stay in the BCS with 1 loss. Cincy, on the other hand, I'm not so sure about.
November 27th, 2009 at 3:54 PM ^
Texas is still in it.
November 27th, 2009 at 3:30 PM ^
With a few ifs, things could get interesting. It has been assumed for at least 2/3 the season that an undefeated Florida would meet an undefeated Alabama in the SEC championship game, with the winner facing undefeated Texas in the BCS championship game. But *if* Auburn hangs on, and *if* Alabama then beats Florida in the SEC championship game, those homer BCS race charts that CBS has been posting, with "One-loss SEC Champ" ahead of everyone except Texas, really get tested. Is the SEC really that tough that a one-loss champ deserves the BCS championship bid over several other undefeated teams, including the champion of another BCS conference? But at least we don't have to worry about all the problems picking teams for a playoff.

Never saw that before. Love the quotes at the top and "About Us" page.

Does anyone know if Michigan/Michigan State tried recruiting Mark Ingram?
November 27th, 2009 at 4:21 PM ^
I believe his father is an Alabama alumn, thus the influence.
November 27th, 2009 at 4:36 PM ^
I thought his Dad was a State Alum, but the reason the family chose Bama was because of Saban.
November 27th, 2009 at 6:07 PM ^
You are correct.

And yes, bad article, but thems the apples.

Excellent execution of an onside kick by Auburn. Extra bonus that it was cleanly recovered by the kicker.
November 27th, 2009 at 4:58 PM ^
Javier Arenas is beastly, McElroy not so much.
November 27th, 2009 at 5:29 PM ^
But I have always loved Auburn they are secretly my second favorite school. I was going to go there after college but decided not to and go to Ohio. GO TIGERS BABY!
November 27th, 2009 at 5:53 PM ^
This has been a hell of a game. I'll be amazed if Auburn can drive for a TD with 94 seconds left.
November 27th, 2009 at 5:58 PM ^
wow. running the ball with 17 seconds left with 1 timeout, 60 yards from your endzone?
November 27th, 2009 at 6:00 PM ^
was the first down with 39 seconds left then not snapping the ball until 12 more seconds ran off.
November 27th, 2009 at 5:57 PM ^
Wow, Gene Chizik, have you ever heard of clock management.
November 27th, 2009 at 5:58 PM ^
of clock by the Auburn team. Absolutely terrible. I'd be awful pissed about the clock management at the end of this game if I was a Tiger fan.
November 27th, 2009 at 5:59 PM ^
Apparently clock management proficiency isn't a requirement for coaching in the ESS EEE CEE.
November 27th, 2009 at 6:03 PM ^
What is with the clock management in this conference! Auburn could of won this game so damn close.
November 27th, 2009 at 6:03 PM ^
lol saving the last TO for 20 secs left when using it earlier would have saved that amount of time.
November 27th, 2009 at 6:05 PM ^
1:24 left with 1 TO and you run the ball TWICE. Really? It took them 1:14 to run 4 plays.
November 27th, 2009 at 6:14 PM ^
What made that fiasco by Auburn at the end doubly ridiculous was the the Malzahn offense is based entirely on getting a lot of plays off quickly. Sure couldn't have guessed that based on that last series...
November 27th, 2009 at 6:37 PM ^
I'm convinced that coaches need to have a designed "clock-strategy" guy on staff, even if it's just a grad assistant. We see so many head coaches screw up managing the clock that it seems that it's too much to ask of them (on top of everything else).
November 27th, 2009 at 8:11 PM ^
:( Sad panda.
