OSU did the "unthinkable" when they upset Alabama.  That will help Michigan down the road if the asinine situation in which all major conference champions aren't invited to the playoffs still exists.  Thank you, OSU, for helping to disprove the myth of Alabama and SEC "superiority."

But there is no way OSU winning is going to benefit Michigan or the Big Ten tonight.  I don't want a year of Buckeye bragging.  I was almost on the fence about this for Big Ten pride after Harbaugh's announcement, but I just can't bring myself to cheer for OSU tonight.

Go, Ducks.

I hope osu loses in a close game, doesn't embarass the conference, but I couldn't stand listening to the osu fanbase chirp National Champions for the next year.  Go Ducks.

Go DUCKS!!! It's close for a while but Oregon's tempo, athleticism and conditioning eventually wins out.

Over/Under at 74.  I can almost see taking the over on this.  A score of 42 - 35 is not out of the question.  That is riciculous.  I'd like to see these guys battle a little bit of field position and defense before they get tired and the flood gates open.  QUACK!!!

Is th under. I say between 63 and 70 points tonight. OSU will slow tempo down. They have not been giing fast last 2 games with 3rd string QB playing. They get to the line and adjust playcall from booth. Same thing will happen tonight.

You know, to cheer for a B1G team and also due to the fact that Miami was supposed to piledrive them into oblivion. It was a terrible mistake, something that left me feeling dirty for years. Never again. Go Ducks!

INDEED.

I did not believe it possible to hate the Ohio team more than I already did.  Then when they had to play Alabama in the Sugar bowl I was forced to cheer for Alabama.  I did not believe it possible that I would ever root for Alabama but Ohio forced me to.......Thus even more hatred than I e ver thought possible.

GO DUCKS.....plus I live in Oregon

about midway through the 2nd half, when a contoversial call goes against Urban, followed by a total implosion by the Buckeyes in every phase of the game.  How 'bout 3 or more late Oregon TD's to remove any doubt that OSU is inferior?!

That should be about enough to maximize the suffering for Cooler-Pooper Nation.

I'm hoping to see that blank sideline stare that coaches get when they realize they've been outperformed in every facet and are mentally checking out of the game and into some cozy little vacation spot in their brain that protects them from the pain. That or a revisit to the sad pizza golf cart.

From "Addicted To Quack":

Key players, aka players to hate: ALL OF THEM. The Natty is on the line for shit's sake. Save your compassion and sportsmanship for Arkansas State.

I like how he thinks. This evening, we are all Ducks.

First post here... been lurking for the last 2 years.

I flew down to Dallas today from Nashville for business and decided to wear my Michigan football hat on my flight knowing full well that there would be tons of Buckeye fans on my flight. I got dirty looks from every scarlet and grey wearing fan walking to the back of the plane.

A group of Oregon fans boarded the plane and all gave me high fives as they walked to the back of the plane.

In the big yourevexpected to hate 1-2 teams no matter what. Root against a couple more for idiosyncratic / temporary reasons and root for northwestern.

but the conference needs this one. The power 5 conference with the longest dry spell is the BIG. This will go a long ways to solve preception of the conference.

Plus this will make OSU ranked higher when we kick the crap out them next year.

To hell with conference pride.

To hell with "The Big Ten needs this one."

To hell with all of that.

I hope Oregon manhandles OSU tonight. OSU got here all by itself, with an embarrassing loss at home to VaTech, while playing in what many perceived to be an inferior conference. We don't need the conference to look good in order to help our chances going forward. We just need to take care of our own shit, and we'll be fine. OSU winning tonight doesn't help anyone but OSU. It sure as shit doesn't help us.

To hell with OSU. I hope Mariota runs them out of the building.
