Broken Brilliance

Can someone explain all the homophobic comments that get thrown at Rodgers by Lions fans? I literally see no effeminate mannerisms, other than the belt celebration, which was a sick celebration before state Farm made it corporate. Is it just an inherent need to project one's insecurities on the best quarterback in the game?

I could not envision a scenario whereby I would be rooting for the packers in any potential matchup. but last week sure changed my thinking, and fast. I really, really hope GB wins big today.

Kudos to the dude who just gave a shoutout to Kohl's on the air there. I honestly didn't know that the NFL had achieved that level of commercialism whereby even the personal placards that people hold would have sponsorship. With luck, we're going to have a sign sponsored by Lumber Liquidators before the end of the half.

I know Lions fans have a hard time rooting for the Packers (or Bears or Vikings), but in the interest of all that is pure, moral and good in the world, please root for the Packers today against the Cowboys.  The Cowboys represent everything that is wrong in the NFL and pro sports in general - they are from Texas; they have the most obnoxious stadium ever conceived; their owner is a grade-A dirtbag; Dez Bryant is on their team; and they have big-time fair weather fans.

The Packers are salt of the earth compared to these Cowboys.  Go Pack Go!!

This is strange. Usually irrational thoughts and statements on this site come after a loss or coaching change. The amount of whining in this thread is through the roof. Hope everyone can let the officiating go. The referees do have human error. They do make mistakes.
