I thought Jimmah was going to be going on his second Heisman and third NC next year. I could swear he promised. I even saw his high school championship rings.

I hate ND but why are you dissing Clausen? He's got 23 TD's against 4 int's and his passing percentage is pushing 70%. He's going to be a first round draft pick. Even if he doesn't make it in the NFL, and you have no reason to think he won't, he's gonna have a lot of spending money in the foreseeable future, black eye and all.

This is ridiculous, in order to win a Heisman, you have to be a COMPLETE player (cough cough, as in not normally running for as many yards as you're throwing, and you know the ability to throw the ball more than five yards helps too), and you have to be consistently winning (see Mark Ingram, and as much as I hate to say it, Tim Tebow)

....but Tressel would have to let him run a lot more. As much as I hate to give credit to anyone from OSU for anything, Pryor is scary when he runs. The problem for Pryor is that Tressel is using him to hand it off or throw from the pocket.
UM had the right idea trying to force Pryor to pass; if the defense is better next year, they may win using the same stategy. I just hope the light bulb doesn't go on in Tressel's head the next two years; my worst nightmare is to see the hated Buckeyes using Pryor in an effective manner. Tressel may not run the spread, but he can certainly call a lot more roll-outs for Pryor next year if he wants to.
Luckily for us, though, Tressel believes in his conservative offense, and won't change it for anyone. I am guessing that he is now so arrogant going into the UM game that he won't even bother to put anything special in next year.
Anyway, I propose a toast to Pryor's continued underachievement.
