Can Hoke Become Another Moeller?

Gary Moeller's legacy related to Michigan has always fascinated me. He was fired in disgrace after embarrassing himself and U-M, but after a few years in the NFL, he came back and is now fully accepted as a beloved member of the Michigan family. There he was last week, posing with Harbaugh, Lloyd and Hanlon.

So, my question is: A dozen or so years from now, can Brady Hoke have this same legacy? When we introduce our new coach in 2027, will a gray-haired Brady Hoke be there, wearing a Block M shirt and posing for photos? Does Hoke have a future as another Gary Moeller?

A guy who spends 21 years at a rival school really can't be considered part of the Michigan football family at that point. By the same token, no one thinks of Gary Moeller as an OSU guy.

They don't think of Bo as a "Woody guy" either. How many years did he spend with him before taking the Miami (NTM) and subsequently Michigan jobs?

Moeller was a long time assistant to Bo, beat OSU, and recruited most of the '97 NC team. Moe was also a DC under Bo and not a position coach. Whole Brady will be rememvered more fondly as time goes on for how he represented the program outside of football the comparison of Moeller and Brady isn't even fair.
