It did seem like the Bama guys didn't want to tackle Jones. I wasn't sure why people thought this was a slam dunk for Bama anyway. Bama gave up a lot of points in the Iron Bowl. Their D has not been elite for a couple of years.

Lane Kiffen, it turns out, is exactly the gormless fucking moron we all thought he was. Fucking IDIOT.

Yes, Henry isn't always great at hitting the hole. Didn't matter! He had room to build up steam all night. So fucking DUMB!!!!

SEC...SEC...SEC...Bahahahahaha!

This is the first half of what I was hoping for.  The mighty Bammers and the SEC went down hard the last few days.  This will help Michigan as soon as the ship is righted.  That could mean as early as 2015.

Part two: Oregon tramples Buckeye dreams next week.

That will be the best possible outcome for a Michigan fan:  The SEC goes down, Bama goes down and Ohio State blows yet another opportunity to be National Champions.

And others in the B1G as well, just like they need us. The B1G did well with bowls, yet is still mediocre without an elite UM. We will be fine now that the boat has turned in a better direction. Being elite in an elite conference is the bigger goal. OSU breaking a few stereotypes helps in the long run. And they can still get housed by Oregon in 11 days so it's kind of a win win.

and Shane Morris gets his ass kicked by OSU's ball boy at QB, what will you say then?

I don't give two shits about Alabama. We play them once every 5-10 years if that. Sure, the SEC lovefest is annoying but it has not been relevant for Michigan since ever ('06 was before the lovefest began) We have been OSU's bitch for my entire fucking post-adolescent life.

Why do you want Michigan to get it's ass kicked by a shitty OSU team, if you are so sure that it has to get it's ass kicked by OSU?  What benefit do you foresee Michigan getting by losing to an OSU team that is seen as crappy?

I don't want OSU to win the NC, because that would hurt Michigan recruiting.  But I am glad to see them beat Alabama, because that helps Michigan recruiting.  I am all about Michigan.  I really don't care that you are all buttthurt about OSU's recent record against us.   I am for what is good for Michigan, not for what is good for you.

Have to give it Meyer for being able to have this type of season despite having a carousel of QBs. Have to give credit where credit is due and this OSU team is good. But in all seriousness Fuck OSU.

I'd rather have ANYONE from the Big Ten shut the SEC up than have another Bama title game. What's good for the B1G is good for Michigan.

That said, it's now time for OSU to choke the title again. Can't let them get too much.

Two things to remember -

1.  The Big10 took 2 out of 3 from the SEC today.  It won't shut up the SEC fans (I don't know if the energy death of the universe would do that) but the all of the rest of football-fandom will know and

2.  OSU still has a chance to screw the pooch in the national champtionship game.  The Bucknuts DO have some experience in such matters . . .

Took 2/3 today, right? Meaning 2/3 head to head, overall?

With one game outstanding between the two conferences...

The football gawds have anointed Iowa vs. Tennessee with an ounce of relevance by allowing them to name the B1G as superior or on par.

B1G so far (still with IOWA and BUCKS to play): 5-4

ESsEeeCeePN so far: (still with FLA and TENN to play): 5-5

This information is all contingent on my math not being fuzzy. If it is, I'm sure someone will fix it.

Recruits wanna play against the best, right? Ive heard/read plenty of times in interviews that one of the main reasons why so many kids want to play in the SEC is because they think they're playing the best competition.

Basically, what I'm saying is, this can easily be spun into a selling point.

I want OSU to be undeafeted defending national champions when they lose in Ann Arbor next year. It's quite nice as well to see mighty Bama and the SEC lose a bunch of games. With the amount of coaching talent in the Big Ten right now, the times really are changing and it won't be too long before the national perception starts catching up.

This is good for Michigan when it comes to making future playoff games.

The last time Ohio State won a surprise national championship a few days after a certain Michigan coach was hired, it presaged the end of the Buckeye dominance in The Game that was the norm over the prior 14 years.

Kiffin blew that game. With backs like Henry and Yeldon I don't know why they insisted on passing and running screens so often.

Meyer is a great coach, no doubt. I hope our new coach watched these games today, because if anything he'll see the challenge in front of him and level of competitiveness it will take. He probably digs that shit,
