Tried to go for a run, but got tired and quit after about a half mile.

I don't like the sound of it, though. Says he has already decided between M and VT but won't announce until December 19. Missing a visit, then saying he has his mind made up doesn't fit well together for me. He says he's "trying to reschedule that [missed visit to M] unofficial, but I don't know yet." Erg.

If I had to bet today, I'd say that VT is the leader. He's said that he wants to play RB in college, but Michigan only wants him for defense. So that's why I've always kind of thought he was VT's to lose.
That being said, he's already been to Michigan, so it's not extremely important that he visit again.

However, VT's leading rusher is a freshmen. So he'd be a back up til at the least his third season.

As a linebacker, he'd be a couple seasons away from playing, too. I don't think immediate playing time is that high on his list, and either way, he's probably not going to play extremely early.

Here maybe not. Especiall if he can play one of the inside positions.
Im not sue though what he would come in as.

I'd bet a good chunk of change that Furman wouldn't beat out two fifth-year seniors, Leach, Fitzgerald, et al. as a freshman.

While I agree that he'd be a couple seasons away from hitting the field as a linebacker for us, I still think he has a greater opportunity for playing time overall at UM than VT. As "mds315" eluded to VT Frosh back Ryan Williams leads the team in rushing and I believe replaced the former team leader due to injury. Ontop of Williams they have another talented tailback in David Wilson who's also a freshman. I think the rest of their depth chart is made up of a sophomore and another freshman.

the OSU game strictly because he had a playoff game that night, otherwise he would have been in the big house.....
