Minnesota=DEATH Comment Count

Oh, hell:

Michigan quarterback Steven Threet is "very, very questionable" for Saturday's game at Minnesota, according to coach Rich Rodriguez.

Threet suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter at Purdue, but the effects weren't clear until after the game. Rodriguez said before today's practice that the headaches usually associated with similar concussions go away after a day or two, but Threet's have remained. He has not practiced all week.

Things projected to be more fun than the Minnesota game:

  • last night's John McCain victory rally
  • being mauled by a lion
  • eating six whole tilapia raw
  • Henry Kissinger

Whatever happened to ellipses man.  I am sure he could give us a very in depth, logical, explanation of what is going to happen at QB.

"Oh Michigan Football Hating God, please accept the sacrifice that has been made thru the first part of this season as an offering that might allow Michigan to win the last game of the season."

What the hell, there have been a lot of streaks broken this year.

You know...Sheridan does open up bigger holes for our RBs to run through.  So what if he can't throw.  So what if when he does throw it's to the wrong team.  So what if he doesn't know what routes are, or what WR's are, or what '3 seconds and the ball is supposed to be out' is.  So what if he doesn't know what 'looking downfield' means, or how to recognize pressure from a 3 man rush.  You all need to be more optimistic...show some WOLVERINE PRIDE.  We are going to need Sheridan's sideline leadership if we are to become National Champs in '11.

I found Obama's victory rally even less fun than the Minnesota game, but whatever.

Good thing I'm coaching my youth baseball team tomorrow.  Just may look for a doubleheader to ensure I'm not anywhere near a TV.l

Michigan football - returning to greatness somewhere around 2020.

That was the fact even without his concussions...  But Sheridan has no business to be on the field playing for Michigan, except maybe as a holder.

We will win Saturday. Because we aren't even supposed to be sniffing a touchdown, let alone a W, we will win. Thats the way things go in this season as a Michigan fan.

Oh well.  Better now when the games don't mean anything than next year when we could be fighting for a bowl.  We might even be fighting for a bowl outside the state of Michigan.

Game Plan: Direct snap to Minor every play and then let Zoltan punt. It will be less painful than even attempting to throw because those incomplete passes/interceptions will stop the clock. This way the pain will last for a shorter amount of time.

 I have already started drinking...

"The University of Michigan football team holds the nation's longest streak of games without being shut out, dating back to 1984."

Time to experiment with some new stuff.  Who's our 3rd string backup RB?  I heard they make good QB's.

It will be like the spring game, only televised.

Each week we are getting beat up by yet another kid in the schoolyard, and getting our lunch money taken.  Even the nerds are doing it.
