Harbaugh fever
I have been trying my damnedest not to get my hopes up for Harbaugh. Repeating to myself "it's not such a big deal, there are plenty of good coaches out there." But the internet got me. I am bursting with hope. I have Harbaugh fever, and there is no cure. If we do not get him now, I will weep like 2 year old. Probably for days. And you?

We haven't had that spirit here since 1989.

Very well done.

I'm going to assume a brilliant philosopher came up with that line.

Did the sarcasm really not make itself obvious here?

Pretty much just like any other day then?

I've honestly been having real trouble sleeping and don't think I'm really going to be able to enjoy Christmas without Harbaugh's signature. I'll either be too stressed if the search is still being stretched out or extremely dejected if he turns us down. I really hope he wouldn't say NO on the 23rd when he meets with Hackett... might make for the worst Christmas present ever. At that point, I don't know if I'll even want to have to "celebrate" with the family members who aren't Michigan fans.

Tis the Season to Believe!
Harbaugh is coming home!

I think this is "lonely obsessed sports fan" Rob Lowe, and he has cable.

I mean, I'm nearly two decades out of college but I still feel the same passion for the team as I did when I attended. If anything, I've been getting more invested as the years go on. The kids haven't like me coaching their football teams on Sundays as much the past two years... usually not in a great mood in the Fall as of late.

take a step back! I love football like everyone else but I sure as hell don't let it ruin my life. priorities buddy priorities.

when I see a new Thread started on the MGoBoard my heart stops thinking it is news....so I say this respectfully....
your thread is pointless (and so is my post/response). My tiny little heart and head can only take so much.

He puts his khakis on, one leg at a time. Except once his khakis are on, he wins football games.
Babies, before we're done here, we'll all be preventing Ohio State players from earning gold-plated pants.
Never question Jim Harbaugh.
December 19th, 2014 at 10:21 PM ^
He puts them in front of him, jumps in, both feet AT THE SAME FUCKING TIME.
You don't know Jim Harbaugh, you hack...except you got the khaki thing right.
December 19th, 2014 at 2:18 PM ^
Meh, it's not really going to bother me if he doesn't come. I'm sure this is the product of watching us lose year after year, but at the end of the day, this is just a damn game. What difference does it make in the end whether we win or lose?
I just really try not to get worked up over it anymore. Of course, if Harbaugh did come, I may be singing a different tune.

You have to be strong to avoid apathy. Of course it maters if we win or lose. That is what competition is all about. If it doesn't matter if we win or lose them there is no reason to play the game. Also there would not have been any reason to fire Hoke.

this? I am begging you...

It's called Jesus, silly. Read a book. Literally just that one book. Don't go any further than that.

"It's called Jesus, silly."
That is the single funniest thing I've seen since Gene Kelly danceed with Danny F'ing Kaye.
