I'm on ND/UCONN right now, flipping to PSU/MSU in a bit. Might switch over for LSU/OleMiss. Not a whole lot of great games here.

The good thing about ND starting their game at a weird time is that there is football on before the 3:30 games kick off. Not a lot of bigtime games, but I think Northwestern will play Wisconsin tight. The Penn State game could either turn out to be a good game or a blowout. UConn just had a great run for a touchdown but I don't think there's any way they win.

I want Penn State's defense. Let's just offer all of their defensive coaches $2-3 million a year and see what happens. I'd pay extra for tickets if that's what the money went to.

Huge 64 yard return by Northwestern to get great field position after Wisconsin goes ahead 14-10. The first half is a good game so far.

Wow, missed field goal by Penn State keeps that game scoreless. I haven't been keeping an eye on it too much, don't know if it was the first chance at points or if there have been other misses.

Woah. Two crazy things just happened. I flipped away and missed the Northwestern kickoff, but they stopped Wisconsin inside the 5 yard line somehow. I don't know how that happened. Then, the official gets knocked the f out by John Clay. He lowered his shoulder to power through a NU defender and misses, but plows right into the ref. Looks like the ref is going to be okay.

Not a lot I'm excited about here... Kind of flipping back and forth betwixt MSU-PSU and Ole Miss-LSU. I'm really looking forward to Oregon tonight... They're a fun team to watch.

Damn it, I wish the NBC announcers would stop saying, "Charlie Weis's job perhaps hanging in the balance" before every single freaking play.

So the bad thing about this game is that any joy from seeing UConn do well against ND is offset by increasing worry about the first game next year.

Also, I love that the announcers say, "That kind of takes the run out of your arsenal" before a 2nd and 10 play and UConn proceeds to run for 9 and a half yards.

I was wrong about UConn not being able to win, but I thought that the Penn St game would be a blowout and that the Wisconsin-Northwestern game would be exciting. Wisconsin is going to get the ball on their 20 with 42 seconds left down by 2. Can Tolzien lead a game-winning drive?

HOLY SHIT! That was the best onside kick I've ever seen. The Ole Miss guy didn't want to touch it before 10 yards, but the only other guy near it was an LSU player and he easily grabs it. However, LSU's only play seems to be to have the QB heave it up deep as he's falling down.
