Student Chant
Where are the students that organized the Rich Rod chant during the WMU game? I would love to see that done again. You should also lead the "Family Values" chant that was mentioned yesterday. Maybe after we bust up a play in the backfield?
I know there some stragglers but the support for the team has been better than expected this week and seems to be gaining even more steam. Keep it up!

Does raising my middle finger every time I see Boren come onto the field count as a "chant"? I can verbalize it too...

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Repeat 1000 times over a 3 hour period.

Irrespective of any scoring, every time Martin, Graham Van Bergen or one of our linebackers makes a play by beating Boren, I am starting the {Bo-ren, clap-clap, Bo-ren, clap-clap} cheer.

I love the idea of a chant to show support for RR before/during the game.
If I can nitpick...can it be changed to "Coach Rodriguez"...seems a little more personal, which i know seems like backwards logic by using his title and not his first name...but to me, the tone of calling him Coach, i don't know...you know what i'm getting at?

"Worst State Ev-er" has the requisite four syllables, and applies regardless of the score.
Please, let us refrain from "over-rated" if we're winning.

I like the idea of a "Worst State Ever" chant. Although, I may be biased since I'll be wearing said shirt.

Wearing mine now.

while i personally dont think richrod should go ... i can tell you that (we) students are fed up ... i doubt that chant will happen ... the truth is we only have 4 years to wait for a winner ... we really dont have the time to be patient ... as a sophomore, I can say I am facing the harsh reality that my class may finish with an overall losing record (has that ever happened before?)... it tough cause I came to this school to watch this team

Changing the coach and the system at this point will only start the rebuilding process over. If you want to see us as a contender while you are at UM, get on the RR bandwagon. Two years we win the big ten. Next year we make decent bowl (outback).

Seemed like only yesterday (or two years ago) when people were predicting 10 wins in year 2 and posting RR's overall records from every coaching stop he's ever had.
I have a feeling we're going to be hearing "but wait until 2 years from now when we're slaying everyone!" for a couple years to come.

You will probably witness an OSU defeat while you're in school. I was an undergrad 2004-2008...

Mirasola I'm in the same boat. I bought tickets to this one because I just want to see it happen so badly.

You will get to watch them win the Rose Bowl your senior year. The warm southern california air will feel a little warmer, the grass on the field will look a little greener and the roses will smell that much sweeter than it has to any other class to come through UM because of what we are going through right now. In case we don't talk before then, have fun in Pasadena in January of 2012, it's going to be a hell of a way to celebrate your time at Michigan.

One way to impact the program as it will exist in your final years as a student is by showing a supportive and enthusiastic environment. The more fun the recruits have, the more energy and support they feel, the more likely they may be to want to be a part of it.
I sincerely hope the action on the field will do that, but if not, the crowd has to provide it.

I mean I was a fan and everything too before I applied and got accepted and went but... that's just stupid.

"you" aren't finishing with shit, my 140 pound friend.
please go inform mr. graham and minor of your displeasure at their team performance.

I'm a senior
Saturday is my last game in Michigan Stadium
I'm 0-3 against Ohio State
We don't have a very good chance of winning
But I can tell you with absolute certainty that I will never be more proud to stand in Michigan Stadium than I will be this Saturday. It has been a fucking honor to watch this team play and sweat and bleed for our entertainment for four years
So you and your entitlement can just suck my dick

I can't image telling my parents, "Sorry your spent 100 grand on my education. It wasn't worth it since we sucked in football." I'm glad I went to UM and had the chance to intern at WTKA before it turned into the shithole that a lot of people have said it is now.
All's not lost. I suffered through the first two years of the Lloyd Carr experiment, but my last two years featured a national title and the launching of Tom Brady's career.
And when did it turn around? 1996 -- 14-9 UM over OSU as Brian Griese hit a streaking Tai Streets for a sweet TD.

Can I put in a request for an "Everyone Murders" chant the first time Pryor hits the field?
