Pete Carrol is telling him that he'll be used as a tailback and wildcat quarterback there...looks like he is looking at richrod's offense as a potential alternative. Just sounds like a great all-around athlete that could be used in a number of ways. Looks like he's somewhere in between Tate Forcier and Justin Fargas on tape.

Wasn't there some rumblings that Conelius would be moved to DB? I think if that is the case that we need another QB. Also, if a guy comes in and practices well offensively he makes the guys he is going up against on defense better defensively. UM needs talent, we are not in the position to turn down 4 star recruits.

We've got Devin Gardner and Tate Forcier, we're set for a while. Although, we still have 3 years of eligability left for Kovacs, so that frees us up to get more offense!!![think BEFORE you respond to this]

Very unlikely to happen but what if a couple of these highly rated offensive longshots want to commit to Michigan? Will Rich Rod's love of offense take a backseat to the harsh reality of defensive need? What if it comes down to picking between a good/great offensive player and an above average/good defensive player? The number of available scholarships are dwindling. Obviously, this problem is better than having no options, but I'm interested to see how RR handles it.

Was anybody else reminded of when Woody went for 2 against us when he didn't need to...and when a reporter asked why, woody responded with "cause I couldn't go for 3" Maybe it's just me since my parents r OSU fans and remind me of that line a lot. I just thought that Harbaugh did a similar thing

idk why this guy is getting negged so much (and i'm probably going to for mentioning it), but carrol has been coming into detroit and stealing uofm recruits for a long time...perry, rojo, tried to with campbell and teric jones...it would be nice to steal one of his for a change.

Fascinating thread. There have been 19 posts so far discussing this recruit, and yet no one has actually mentioned him by name. (I know who it is, just noting this.)

A certain QB made a certain post about certain recruits coming to a certain game on a certain third saturday in a certain eleventh month of the year. Apparently, this violates some rule.

I get that there are recruiting rules, but come on...the kids are friends. He's posting that his friends are coming to visit him at school and maybe take in a football game. Is that really so bad? Kids post that kind of stuff all day everyday. These rules have got to change eventually to take this newfangled technology into account.

now i got it. it just came full circle. and yes with the, but we need defense gripes...and yes to the 'but you dont turn down talent' argument as well.

Someone said something about someonoe else, and where this certain someone may or may not be visiting on a certain day possibly in the near future that may or not be 4 days from now, on a certain social network site that is commonly used by other people in his demographic group. This certain something which was said probably shouldn't have been and thus likely should be kept a secret. (sh!)

In all honesty I think this thread and the other one should be deleted from the board altogether. The way the internet, and rumor-mongering, and human nature in general works, the secrecy only creates buzz and makes people more curious. If there's nothing here to spark their curiosity, problem averted. Nip it in the bud. I usually like free speech and wouldn't advocate something like this, but based on what Brian said in the other post on the other thread, I think it should be done in this case. The last thing the program needs is another shitstorm created by something that is probably nothing being turned into something big. Just my $0.02

RoJo is not an example of Carroll coming into Detroit and stealing recruits. RoJo is from Muskegon, which isn't near Detroit. That's like saying Michigan went into San Francisco to steal Tate Forcier.
