Beat Ohio State

Submitted by BlueinDC on

Maybe it doesn't need to be said, but it's all we have left.

Let's hope out boys just summon all they have, and leave it all out on the field.

Go Blue, Beat OSU.

This is awful. You want to blame everyone. Problem is we don't know who's fault it is. We need to neat them bastards. This needs to be the true start of the Rich Rod era. We ALL need a reason to be happy again.........

I concur, but probably not with this defense. I'm to the point that when the defense is on the field I have a tough time watching. Hopefully next week will be a different story.

A win against OSU would make it all better.

Let's get it done! Nothing could turn around this program more than a win next week, and if we get the breaks anything is possible. This stuff happens every week in college football, and its our fucking turn to have the miracle upset.

Go Blue!

It could happen, and I hope it does. This was the first game where I thought we played okay but just got physically overwhelmed by a bigger team. Just keep cutting down on the mistakes and hope OSU come up with a big game out of someone like Wisconsin just did with Toon.

This week's slogan for the team should be "Remember '69."

We've come into The Game expecting to be crushed before. And you know what, we've shocked the world before.

RichRod, defensive recruiting, 5-6, whatever. It's time to rally around the team. Maybe it's hopeless optimism, but, like I said, it's all we have. Even if we lose...well, we tried.

Remember '69.

P.S.: That's what she said.

For next week is just concentrate on the gaps they need to fill and how hard you need to play to beat this team. My coach on my high school hockey team had a saying "don't think about the win, think about what you need to do to before worrying about the W." They know what to do. They'll watch film this week probably push a very hard practice week. This team can beat anybody if they really give 100% till there is nothing left in the tank. Michigan just needs to focus on fixing the gaps in the defense and the plays on offense. I truely believe and have faith in this team that we can upset Ohio State. This is the time where belief and faith can carry you into victory. Just have to believe.

I can't hope. I just can't.

This season has been agony. I can't see us pulling the miracle off. Pryor will do what he does best and juke our safeties left and right.

I'm going to be there, and I'm going to scream until I have nothing left, but I will not hope so that I'm let down one week from now

And I agree, our chances probably aren't good. I would still hope everyone shows up to give our guys all the crowd support they can get. They certainly need it.

I'd rather lose a close, heartbreaker than go through a shellacking and have the crowd get down on the team. This will be a very important recruiting weekend, let's keep the environment positive for it.

Think big, and Go Blue!

Every game seems to have a turning point after which our team just flat out collapses. The goal line stand at Illinois, the on side kick against Purdue, the roughing the kicker today. This team can't catch a break to save their lives.

Encouraged by a decisive loss, you ask? Yes, actually I am. Finally, it looks like we at least have talent to hang our hat on. That was a big road game in a hostile environment. Aside from Graham, nearly all of Michigan's production on both sides of the ball was from underclassmen, many of which performed well from beginning to end. It is FAR from a finished product, but I at least feel like I saw a couple of seconds of what the finished product is supposed to look like. Will the Buckeyes win, probably, but win or lose, I am now looking forward to the 3rd act.

I will be at the game, cheering my absolute fucking ass off during the entirety of it. I hope Michigan Stadium follows suit and rocks the hell out of Ann Arbor. That is all we can do. Support the team!

Let's take a lesson from the past. Craig James said in the Illinois game how Illinois had the perfect time to strike for a win. Illinois was win-less in the Big Ten till they played us and they looked to make a statement in that game which they did by beating us. Now's our chance. We have the perfect setting for an upset. It's in the Big House, our offense is better than last year, we have the home crowd behind us and we will go into this game battle stations ready. It can be done! And think about this if we win we will have beat the Big Ten Champions and a team going to the Rose Bowl! Thats huge!

Not likely at all but I would love to see our DL destroy Boren...in fact humiliate Boren.....in fact dominate him so bad that there is a ESPN SPortcenter segment showcasing the domination of Boren all day long.

If the D could hold, I think our offense is coming around a bit. Offense playing well these last two games. It's hard to win when your offense has to score every possession to keep up on the scoreboard. I'm with ya - go blue!

Also, no matter what happens in the game, no one, not a single person in the stands should let a "Boo" escape their lips. We need to show what a great fan base and community we are for all the recruits that will be there to see us.

This game will be the most fun one I go to all year for the fact that my expectations aren't high. If they lose, they lose but if they win A2 will be insane. It's a win-win situation for me.
