Night Game Thread

Despite the sad entity that is UM football, there is a lot of fun football being played out there.  The SEC at this moment is engaged in some interesting games

  • Auburn 35, SC 35
  • Ole Miss 7, LSU 3
  • Alabama 27, Tenn 17

OSU is up 17-0 on hapless offense for PSU early in the 3rd.  Which is a big improvement on last year's decimation.

For us fanatics the Pac 12 has 2 good games kicking fof soon  with USC v Utah, and the fighting Todd Graham's traveling to visit Chris Peterson.  That is 3 teams in the top 20 in those 2 games.

Washington State's coming back to the sheer joy and excitement of Baloo.  They're now only down 59 to 30 at this point proving once again that RR cant coach defense worth a shit.

I mean seriously - 30 points?  He should be ashamed.

growing fan club! Note, RR's teams gave up 35, 26 and 34 points to MSU...Just an awful coach...lousy human, etc. Oh, and as you already know, RR didn't have upper classmen at QB and other skill positions, let alone a $4.1M salary and $600k coordinators. Not ordering season tickets this year is now showing itself to be my most satisfying financial decision!

Michigan should be running the Ohio State offense. They are always running downhill, QB is always a threat to run, and the passing game has easy reads. Norfleet in the Harvin role.

This LSU Ole Miss game is on another level.... meanwhile Hackenberg is showing signs of Devin Gardner syndrome aka freaking out wayyyy too early in the pocket and throwing terrible passes when anticipating pressure when there is none.

That being said, the condition is due to shitty Oline play and PSU deff has a shitty Oline..

Sure, it's 10 points, but LSU has put 401 yards of offense so far and only allowed 278 in exchange to Ole Miss. Fournette has 113 yards on the ground and Magee and Hilliard have put up some impressive rushing performances too. I do admit, I wouldn't mind being able to pound the other team for 200 yards rushing consistently like that.

LSU has had amazing defenses the entire Miles tenure.  He just never can find QBs and to a lesser degree RBs.  If Fournette is the real deal he will at least have a stud RB.

Watched all of this LSU game and just saw that fourth down stop by them. Must really he nice to be that good. Michigan is so far behind programs like LSU, OSU, Alabama, and the like that it is really fucking pathetic and sad.

Why on EARTH did Ole Miss do that? Try to get that extra five or six yards, sure, but don't go to the end zone. What a waste. Kick the field goal, bruh.

I feel like his comments would have resonated in the Big House with Les wearing the M hat. Had he been hired four years ago I think we would be in a far different situation... The next two months should be interesting.

Les Miles is not leaving LSU. He seems to love that place...and how can he not? That is such a great program with fantastic fans.
