This kid works his ass off and his postgame interview made me so proud. Always talking about the team and that kid has done everything Michigan has ever asked and has gone through hell, played broken foot, 3 offensive coordinators, gotten blame, gotten benched and still cares so much for Maize and Blue. If anybody is a Michigan Man to the core it is Devin Gardner. -played under Lloyd.

God bless our players. I've never seen anyone with more heart than DG. Ol 98 had the accolades, New 98 has the heart and NEVER quits even though it'd be easy to. Im so happy. Waiting for MMB postgame show. All of the lights!!!!!

Wasn't sure about that offsides call on the onside kick, but Michigan played with guts tonight both offensively and defensively. Not pretty, but a win feels good.

They needed a TD after taking the safety.  The only TD they had all night was on a short field.  It was a very questionable call, but it would not have made any difference.

So we're back to Penn State losing to Michigan and whining about the Ref's.

Life is good.

Since the ref that called it was standing ten feet from the guilty party and on the line of scrimmage, I'm going to go with not controversial at all.  The guy that was offsides recovered the ball since he got such a 'head' start.  I'll forgive the refs for bs challenge reviews because of good offsides call.  Hooray for a win!

It is impossible to tell from the overhead angle they kept showing.  For some reason they only showed the sideline angle once for about about 2 seconds - but from that view the player's helmet was clearly over the line when the kicker's foot arrived at the ball. Hopefully somebody will find that shot and screen cap it.  It was very close, and a tough call given the situation, but it was the correct one.

that there would be a number of ugly games this season and that some would be wins and some losses.

Congratulations to team 135 and their coaches. GO BLUE!

BTW: More than a few folks here need to reconsider how "soft" this team is, and should think about acknowledging they are wrong.

There is a visual difference in the way the boys played the last two weeks.  In my eyes comparitive to each of the past two seasons.  There is a losing culture for Michigan football right now, unfortunately.  Tonight the guys looked pissed and look like they have taken to heart what is happening at thier school.  They did not play soft the last two weeks and we as fans need to see them continue this trend.  The football program needs to see it coupled with greater execution so that we can turn the corner!  I still beleive we can and maybe we will this year!

Go Blue!

Fell sleep during the halftime break (30 minutes is way too long), but awoke for the last two drives. Seems like while I was sleeping, the defense was very much awake. Glad this team pulled it off against Penn State and in the midst of the idiotic ESPN commentary. Now, onto Sparty.
