John U. Bacon: "If I had a guess" one year from now, Brad Bates will be the AD and one of the two Harbaughs will be the HC

Submitted by michgoblue on

John U. Bacon, just wrapped an interview on the Hugh Show.  When asked to guess who will be the HC of Michigan football one year from now, after giving several disclaimers and noting that it was just his guess, stated that one year from now, Brad Bates would be the AD and one of the two Harbaughs would be the HC.

He also said earlier in the interview that from talking to people who he knows who are close to Miles, Harbaugh and Harbaugh, he does not believe that any of that group would accept the HC spot with Brandon as AD.

Sorry, no link, as it was a radio interview.

To Gods ears.

I know a couple of fans of our rivals who absolutely hate the idea of Harbaugh coming here, even if just for a few years.

That said, the first step is canning Brandon.

and he is not one of the money guys that make that stuff happen. Connected yes, but the Hoke and Brandon buyouts in addition to the contract that either Jim or John would demand require the money guys to dig into their donation pockets.

Too many unknowns.  Is the pickle whole, speared, or sliced?  Is the pickle one of those giant novelty pickles, or just your average jar dwelling pickle?  Is the wooden leg the monkey's dominant leg?  What type of wood?  Actually, what type of monkey, as well?

But why can't we trade Brady Hoke and the entire Michigan Coaching Staff to the San Fransisco 49ers for Jim Harbaugh and his staff right now? If the 49ers want to get rid of J.H. so bad and are going to do it at the end of the season no matter what happens, why not give Hoke a chance to see what he can do there ? Brady Hoke, being a delegator would be far more suited to coaching in the pros-see Wayne Fontes - then in college, and it is clear that Harbaugh is the better college coach. This would give the 49ers a chance to see what Hoke can do, and if the results are terrible, fire him at the end of the season with minimal buyouts, and no PR mess, it would give us a chance to not only save this recruiting class, but turn this program around without all the uncertainty, and in a timely manner.

Yes, I know this can never happen because they are on different levels and different leagues, but a man can dream can't he ?

WTF? I wouldn't trade Hoke and staff for a used urinal cake...

I don't think you're getting the concept of this whole trading thing.......

When the item you have is of zero value, you should be happy to trade it for pretty much anything.
