OT M's Soccer vs #1 Notre Dame - $1 Tickets Tues 7:30pm
Not *that* football related but Michigan Men's Soccer is hosting 2013 National Champions Notre Dame tomorrow night at 7pm at the Michigan Soccer Complex. ND is currently #1 in the country.
Tickets and Concessions are $1 each (GA seats) for the match. Concessions include $1 hot dogs and soda or pop or whatever you call it.
I'll have my soccer update within a day or two but wanted to put this on the board in case you were thinking of attending.
The $1 Tickets are showing on M's website here.
Michigan is coming off an Overtime Golden Goaling winning match at Wisconsin on Saturday, their first of the B1G campaign.

Good for you for sticking with the posts, this team is horrible. Thoughts on Shaka hot seat?

He's only in year 3 and just brought in the #2 recruiting class in the nation.
Michigan has so much to offer now. They're about to have the undisputed top soccer facilities in the nation.

The team isn't horrible, they are just young. I think the biggest problems are youth and formation. The 4-3-3 isn't really working...it's not leading to goals. They are pretty good defensively (especially since Stevens has started pretty much all year as a true Freshman) but they cannot convert chances into goals.
I don't think Daley is on the hot seat, especially with all other things going on. Additionally, he'll have another Top 5 Recruiting class in next year...some bigger names from the East Coast (again) have committed to Michigan.

To hell with Notre Dame but mostly to hell with soccer.
Flame away.

Am I the only one who thinks $1 tix are stupid?

Brilliant

Go Blue! I hope we break a foot off in that ass.

Dollar tix and dollar dogs may be a way to keep the number of football tickets sold above 100k/game for football next year.
Just looked at the 2015 schedule to find the laugher games to make a joke about 'except the ___' game. I guess UNLV might be that game. Other than that...if things don't turn around we could be underdogs most of the year next year.
The hell with notre dame - go blue!

Who's bright idea was to schedule Utah again. Every time we've played them it's been a tough match up. On top of that, playing a Thursday night game in Utah is never a good idea.
BYU game is a disaster waiting to happen. Another well coached team that has a mobile quarterback, what could go wrong?

$5 ought to do it and if I see some good soccer then it's a win/win.

You know, I heard of this thing called Google or something like that. It's this thing on the worldwide web that allows one to get answers for questions...rather quickly, I might add. You open this thing called an Internet browser, click the address bar, type "www.google.com," and press enter. From there, I believe the process is to type a search term and, miraculously, hundreds of thousands results are returned, depending on the search term of course. All that said, some feel this Google thing is a myth, so just beware of its actual existence or lack thereof, I should say.
