Too little, too late.

It's hopefully Brandon saying to retrieve his personal belongings after the game.

I'll need a new username

It has a nice ring to it

Eh, he always puts it on for a bit when things are spiraling out of control in games

usage for next week then.
September 20th, 2014 at 9:08 PM ^
He could use them to tell Coach Muss to try to throw it to Jake friggin Butt.
Ugh
September 20th, 2014 at 9:08 PM ^
Morris tries to throw deep, Norfleet drops the pass, hurt on the play.
September 20th, 2014 at 9:08 PM ^
He's currently rubbing Norfleet's helmet, and just took his mouthpiece out for him.
This is the end.

Wow, Hoke has his headset on.
What do you think he is listening to?
The Troggs?
September 20th, 2014 at 9:26 PM ^
Also hope he sprang for the noise cancelling variety. Don't want to hear those pesky fans (or as DB calls them, sentient line items) booing.
September 20th, 2014 at 11:45 PM ^
There were still people there?
Maybe Special K was piping in boos?
September 20th, 2014 at 9:12 PM ^
I feel badly for Hoke. He clearly loves Michigan and will be absolutely devastated when he's fired, but he just can't coach worth a damn.
September 20th, 2014 at 10:32 PM ^
He makes 4 million a year. Please reconsider.
September 20th, 2014 at 10:35 PM ^
Do you really think that matters to a man like Brady Hoke? I can guarantee he would give every penny of that away to succeed here.
September 20th, 2014 at 10:51 PM ^
Yes. I think it matters.
If it didn't he would resign or take a pay cut.
September 20th, 2014 at 10:57 PM ^
Exactly
September 20th, 2014 at 9:13 PM ^
Did anyone hear the "official" attendance today?

I think it was 103,890

But my dad, who was at both games, thought there were more people there last week.

It was said 103k but bring in the stadium it was empty in the student section. Most of the stadium was clearing out by the 3rd
September 21st, 2014 at 9:50 AM ^
Overstate much? Granted the top of the student section was empty, the I'd say the overall student section was roughly 3/4 full. I don't remember the exact timing of the pending weather announcement and Gardner's interception, but quite a few people left left. Another large batch left when Utah subsequenly kicked the FG relatively early in the 4th.
September 21st, 2014 at 10:06 AM ^
It wasn't the student section but the overflow sections above it that were empty.

His voice after the game sounded depressed. He knows it is all over.
September 21st, 2014 at 10:45 AM ^
what's over? Is he getting fired tonight? Next week? At the end of the season? I don't even have enoough faith in DB to get rid of Hoke even if we lost all our remaining games.
What else could be over? The season? No, we have like 9 more games to suffer through this coaching incompetence, so that's not over either. If you mean a shot at the B1G than granted, he probably knows that's over.
I do feel bad for Hoke because he is obviously a nice human being and he has a lot of very admirable characteristics. I would love to have him stay on as like the d-line coach or something. He can recruit like crazy and really seems to know how to relate to young men and their families. He simply isn't (and never has been) a great or even good HC.
September 20th, 2014 at 9:13 PM ^
So after the rain delay Utah hits the upright (missed FG), Morris loses fumble, multiple receivers drop passes. Ugh.
September 20th, 2014 at 9:15 PM ^
Confirming his order for pickup after the game.
September 20th, 2014 at 9:19 PM ^
If nothing else, we finally got the overhead distribution out of there so the folks building the student housing by Pizza House can finally position that crane. There shouldn't be too much of a delay logistically in the delivery or pickup of orders now - from this standpoint anyway, Ann Arbor can continue to operate as normal.

If he put on a headset, it was so he could eat the microphone with ketchup and mustard without messing up his hands....after all, he needs to clap when the offense comes off the field.
Sorry, but I fell off the wagon on my UM schadenfreude 12 step program when VT kicked our asses a few weeks ago
September 20th, 2014 at 9:17 PM ^
I try to be rationale but man if Hoke isn't fired soon, i'm going to lose my shit.

Don't hold your breath. It will be after the season ends.

This is Jake from Statefarm, how can I help you Mr. Hoke?
September 20th, 2014 at 9:27 PM ^
The end of that game seriously felt like a funeral. Good god I've never felt this low about Michigan football. Not even after the Gator Bowl. Not even after ND this year. This is an unbelievable level of low I never thought possible.
September 20th, 2014 at 10:29 PM ^
MSU game, 27 for 27, BWW Bowl, ND game, Utah game... We keep saying it can't get any worse and yet it does.
September 20th, 2014 at 10:33 PM ^
It can get worse, and I have a feeling it's about to.
September 20th, 2014 at 9:41 PM ^
As much as they have improved the defense it is absolutely disgusting how low this team has fallen on offense
September 20th, 2014 at 11:00 PM ^
But I'll say it again:
We basically have the opposite of Rich Rod now. A total dumpster fire of awfulness on offense and a good defense.
So frustrating to see as a fan, is it fucking impossible for us to have nice things and get a coaching crew that can manage to do BOTH at the same time?
September 21st, 2014 at 9:32 AM ^
We've lost 8 out of the last 12. Over Hoke's tenure we've had fantastic recruiting classes. That said he has not been able to recruit a top QB prospect. For all his recruiting success, his inability to attract a top national propsect for what it undoubtedly the most important position on the field - will ultimately cost Hoke his job. I don't think we have a QB on the roster to help us right the ship. We need a stud. Sadly, the next great QB at Michigan is probably in 10 years old and living in California. How much more losing do you need to convince yourseld that Brady Hoke has got to go?
September 21st, 2014 at 9:37 AM ^
Just throwing this out as speculation, but maybe the reason Michigan is performing so poorly compared to other teams is the lack of use of perfromance enhancing drugs relative to other teams, HGH or steroids. I am not advocating there use, but many/most players in the NFL use and I think most of the good programs use them heavily.
If you doubt most player in the NFL use them, I ask you to just consider how much bigger the players are then they were 30/40 years ago, before the age of steroids. I don't think this is a natural occurance.
It maybe that Michigan just does it cleaner than other programs, but as a result they are unable to compete.
