I wish I were anywhere but home today, because I am a selfish prick. We don't get NBC on HD on our Dish satellite, and the local watering holes will probably not want to switch over to the Michigan game from the MSU game. So, I will stay at home and squint at the TV.

I lived in Des Moines the summer of 1990. There was a huge flood that summer- all of downtown, Valley Junction, etc. I lived in an apartment just west of Drake on University and couldn't get to work on the other side of the river. Neat town, Des Moines.

JVC RS-55 projector, 118" Screen Innovations motorized screen, and a 42" Sony below. Oh, and a mess of a ceiling thanks to a dishwasher malfunction in the kitchen this summer :(
