Just scored tickets for tomorrow
Just scored two for tomorrow of StubHub in Section 8 Row 71. Total for the pair $27.90. Probably could have picked them up cheaper tomorrow outside the stadium, but if I'm going to drive down from Birch Run I like to have the tickets in hand. Can't wait to spend the day with my son screaming our heads off for the boys. Go Blue!

Did you get them so cheap? You sure it's not for 1.

This news really necessitated a thread?

My thought exactly.
August 29th, 2014 at 8:52 PM ^
but you show down vote the op for starting this thread.
August 29th, 2014 at 9:57 PM ^
Birch Run? Why are you going to the outlets before the game? Is that for your wife, you are such a nice guy. Wait, do people live there or something?
August 29th, 2014 at 10:20 PM ^
I'm assuming he lives there.
August 29th, 2014 at 10:24 PM ^
My question for you is why do you down vote everything? You will upvote anything regarding to the football team, including breaking down Devin Gardners stance and arm placement for when he eats a chicago beef sandwich (obviously it's elbows out and feet at a shoulders width apart) but yet when it's a ot topic or a topic about a guy whose clearly excited about attending a game with his son, you're Johnny Raincloud. There's football tomorrow, were all excited, just try to remember when you used to get excited for things.
August 29th, 2014 at 7:41 PM ^
I also got tickets for tomorrow. I did not feel the need to make a thread for it.
August 29th, 2014 at 9:22 PM ^
after his game Thursday night as I had no plans to go was just going to watch on TV. Saw a pair for under $30 and figured might as well put a smile on his face especially after the way he played. Sorry for sharing my happiness as we didn't get to attend a game last year for the first time since he was 7 and he is a senior now. This board is getting unsufferable so with that farewell!
August 29th, 2014 at 10:19 PM ^
Nah man, not all of us. I'm excited for you and your son tomorrow, it's a special day. Especially with him being in High School and a senior. Make the most of it man, I know my dad definitely made the most of time we spent before I went away to college. I hope we run it up, so it's not a stressful environment.
August 29th, 2014 at 10:55 PM ^
with you starting this thread.
Bunch of whiny ass fucking bitches on this board right now. Don't let the bastards grind you down. Enjoy the day with your son, and fuck these assholes who are trying to rain on your parade.
August 30th, 2014 at 2:00 AM ^
That's absolutely awesome. But at the same time I don't think it's worthy of a post. Even though we can all relate to the joy it will bring you and your son, it's certainly not worthy of it's own thread.
August 29th, 2014 at 7:41 PM ^
Thoughts?
August 29th, 2014 at 7:53 PM ^
nope

I miss the good old days before scalping was legitimized online?
Back when I'd leap from a rooftop, beat down a hardened criminal selling two tickets on the 50 yard line, then treat Robin to a fun afternoon at Michigan Stadium.
August 29th, 2014 at 7:44 PM ^
They payed you $27.90, right?
August 29th, 2014 at 7:53 PM ^
30 for a pair is not bad at all. Seeing a game is easily worth paying that

No doubt, it's just that I could see that being the only reason this poster started a thread about it.
August 29th, 2014 at 8:07 PM ^
Probably not, but I bet they paid him.

I got tickets for Michigan vs. Notre Dame and did not feel the need to make a thread about it.
August 29th, 2014 at 7:56 PM ^
I do not have tickets for tomorrow's game. Though I am considering making a thread about it.

In a minute, gotta buy a pair of WR gloves from MDen first.

I just had Angelo's Pizza in Lakewood, Ohio. Total cost was around $50 for everything.
August 29th, 2014 at 8:50 PM ^
Worth every damn penny.
August 29th, 2014 at 9:24 PM ^
It is the best pizza I have ever had and am glad it is about ten minutes from my house. We had the BBQ chicken pizza with banana peppers and pineapple. Amazing. Also had Magic Hat pumpkin beer, which is phenomenal.
August 29th, 2014 at 11:00 PM ^
As a New Yorker who grew up outside New Haven, the two best pizza locales on earth, I must tell you that BBQ chicken and pineapple should never, ever be placed on a pizza.
Oh, by the way, I'm drinking a Beaune Les Tuerons Primer Cru, 2006, amazing vintage.
August 30th, 2014 at 6:39 AM ^
Well, then I am glad I am not from that area because pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza. Adding BBQ is just icing on the cake.
August 29th, 2014 at 11:48 PM ^
Don't know if they still have it but I loved the seafood pizza there.
Great place. Used to like the Winking Lizard around there as well.
August 30th, 2014 at 6:41 AM ^
The seafood pizza is on the menu, but I have never had it. Winking Lizard is great too. They have a plethora of craft beers to select.

U need to work your way on over to Scotti's on the east side for some real pizza.

I love lamp.

Its OK, I once posted about playing Call of Duty.
August 29th, 2014 at 8:26 PM ^
That's completely fine because Call of Duty is awesome.
August 29th, 2014 at 10:37 PM ^
Didn't go over well. I was also really really high.

As a person who has bought tickets on the street for decades now, I put the chances of getting a pair at kick-off for less than $10 total, at 80%.
I'd pay $5 each, and not a penny more; and only then if the seats were decent.
August 29th, 2014 at 9:22 PM ^
How awesome for you. You saved $17.
August 29th, 2014 at 10:41 PM ^
Good point. Gotta say, in the stadium or just the lot, I wish I was in Ann Arbor tomorrow!
August 29th, 2014 at 8:33 PM ^
Since this thread has been hijacked, here's my addition: Some of you people like Founders Dirty Bastard?!? Man this stuff is tough to swallow. I guess my tastes may not be as advanced as some of yours here but wow that was a rough 12 ounces. Now I do have 6 Two Hearted and those are going down just fine. Ill jang up and listen. Go Blue!
August 29th, 2014 at 8:43 PM ^
I'm not a huge IPA fan but two hearted goes does smooth.
August 29th, 2014 at 8:34 PM ^
Lowest I've seen was about $27 each. Seems really low, but good deal.
August 29th, 2014 at 8:50 PM ^
Come on y'all lets give the OP a break. It's finally football season and s/he is excited! WOO FOOTBAW!

Agreed. We need to relax. Tomorrow's gameday and I feel like were straight to a bad place with this attitude.
August 29th, 2014 at 8:57 PM ^
Paid $150 for a pair of west side chair backs - go once a year and want to try a little comfort. Quite happy with the purchase. Why not.
August 29th, 2014 at 9:19 PM ^
I'm coming to the game and will grab one ticket on the street. knock the OP all u want but being excited about M FB is not flaw IMO. Also...fuck the android ap for not letting me up vote.
August 29th, 2014 at 9:25 PM ^
Seriously, people suck. A Michigan football fan psyched about getting tix for a Michigan football opener and posting about it on a Michigan football board, it's terrible.
August 29th, 2014 at 10:34 PM ^
It's sad, it makes me upset because clearly the guy is amped he's doing something with his son.
Sometimes I feel like this blog forums are too much for me. I want to discuss football, have fun, have a decent human interaction. Unfortunately, if you don't do exactly how people want you to do, they are absolutely dickish. We are by far the best michigan forum, but not the best everything else forum.
