Hater - I loved that it was Jabba the Chamberlain that gave up the game tying homer.

Oh the Phillies are wishing they had Fernando Rodney right about now. Yankees are tough

Before the series began I resigned myself to a Yankees championship. After Game One, I was pumped and certain that they would be denied for the ninth straight year. Now I'm worrying...

3-1 lead may be too much for philly to overcome. :'(

Great clutch hitting tonight, hope the Bombers can wrap it up tomorrow night.

As a big Yankees fan I am very excited about the win. It's really nice to see A-rod continue to produce in big spots in the post season. I feel confident with the 3-1 series lead, but I am kind of nervous to have Burnett pitching on short rest. I know he was nearly untouchable in game 2, but he's been very inconsistent with his control all year. Also Cliff Lee is ridiculous, so I think Phillies win game 5. I'd like to see Andy Pettite win it at the new Yankee Stadium, with Mariano closing it out...just for old times sake.

As much as I want to see the yanks win it at home in their new stadium, winning it tonight in philly would mean getting to see all those sad philly faces on tv while the yanks celebrate number 27.

would be AMAZING and would teach chumpy Rollins to keep his soothsaying mouth SHUT!

Thank you Yankees for salvaging this sports weekend for me. Was thinking of quitting sports when they fell behind 3-0 in Game 3.

what did he say? that the phillies would win in 5, 6 if the yanks were lucky? haha FAIL...that being said, i think phillies win tonight, but the yanks wrap it up in game 6 back in NYC

crystal balls i mean.
Having gone to games 1 & 2 it was a matter of time before the Philly's super adjustments for Mark Tex would really hurt them. How do you have three infielders between first and second. Mr. Damon... you just made up for ever being from that other team.

ticket prices have officially gone through the roof. There is no longer any tickets for sale for games 6 or 7 that are under $550. Im talking last row, top tear, nose bleeds all game for $550.
I went to the world series in 2003 and paid $50 for last row nose bleeders... Do you think tickets will always stay this pricey in the new stadium or is it a function of wanting to see the Bombers win for first time in new stadium?
Please discuss...
