Given that there are still tickets available and demand for this game has cratered, it depends upon whether or not you want to catch opening kickoff. If you're willing to wait, you'll find people practically (or maybe literally) giving tickets away outside the gate.

If you're like me, you'll settle for dirt cheap a half hour before kickoff, in a place where 100 people are holding up extras and know that they have no chance of getting much cash.

Well, that would be me if I were in driving distance, anyway.

I will have a $10 bill in my hand and will be willing to hand it over for 2 tickets in the same (any) section, any row.  I predict I am in the stadium by 11:50am.

Did the same with $70 for the Man U game (got in with a pair of tickets 2 minutes before kickoff) and $20 for OSU last November (in about 10 minutes before kick).

I'm very excited. I expect Michigan will play MUCH better than last time and actually win. Then we can finally no longer have a losing record against App State, which is why I'm glad this game is happening.

South Carolina proved why preseason rankings and predictions don't mean diddly poo.

You can see from Brian's preview that we are stacked at every position, except OL (in his mind).  We have plenty of talent there; it's just pretty raw (still).

But if they come together and are even average, the quality of this team is excellent everywhere else.

When that OL comes around...

Look.

Out.

And, with that, here are my two favorite Michigan Football Hype Videos:

Just checked the schedule and there are no good games on tonight. I don't know why so many teams would open up on Thursday and Saturday and no one would sieze the opportunity to be the featured game on Friday night. Seems like it would be a good way for non-elite programs to get their name out there.
