I shouldn't be laughing helplessly at this. I really shouldn't. I'm a grown man with a reasonable amount of intelligence, and both sympathy and empathy for my fellow human beings. I should not find another person's pain funny.

Well, my morning starts with the projection of the remainder of a $28 million budget building certain types of work, so there's that. The rest of the day will be spent working on finding out the status of various jobs such as the new tower going in basically on top of Pizza House and so forth because there's a lot of high-profile stuff going on and sadly some of it is on my desk.
My weekend? My mother-in-law will be taking the kids, so my wife and I will probably do some of the things around the house that are difficult to manage when the kids are there. Trust me, it's much easier to replace trim, for example, when someone isn't stealing the nail gun and threatening to immbolize someone else with it, although who knows what I'll feel like after a few hours of chores.
