OT: Would this be permitted in Michigan Stadium?

I know some venues will not allow people in if there face is covered. Has anyone ever seen someone in Michigan stadium wearing one of these (or, alternately, turned away)? Thanks.

I've seen students at the games wearing these as recently as the 2010 MSU game. I don't think the University has a policy forbidding them.

I didn't see one last year that I recall, but I was in line behind someone in a similar suit in 2012 at the M-Den store inside the stadium fence, so they definitely do make an appearance from time to time. I also thought that in 2011 there was a team effort with one guy in maize and the other in blue.

Looks like it zips up in the back, so you could always just unzip the head portion and have it not cover your face while you walk in. Or just wear it under a jacket and a pair of gods gift to earth: tearaway pants. That way if any security come around you can always just cover up and not get kicked out.

If your face is covered, how are you going to see where you are going to get into the stadium, much less see the game?

Shockingly, you can see remarkably well in them. I'd liken it to wearing a very dark pair of sunglasses.

The arm-wavy dude would have been barred from admission if the hide your face thing was accurate. I bet you could get away with it.

I love wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube guy. Unfortunately, he was the best part of some of the games last year.

Seen plenty of people wear these both at football and basketball games, so I doubt the univeristy has any policy on them. Like one of the posters said above, you can always zip it down to your neck for a bit.

One of my buddies had one freshman year and wore it to about every game. He also regularly attempted to drink beer through the suit so the mouth area was always stained. Really completed the look with the girl's booty shorts he wore to cover the junk.

if I came into one of the games wearing that. But, I'm not crazy enough.

I work with a guy who is pushing 70, but insists on wearing a Superman outfit every Halloween to work. It's a gutsy move on his part, especially given that we're all reminded that he labors through life as a hernia victim ... .

I've seen these from time to time and tried to imagine the thought process that goes into buying / wearing one... Probably something along the lines of "I'm supposed to meet the guys for bodypainting before the big game but I'm worried that I won't look quite ridiculous enough" or "it's just too warm for the snuggy"
Bottom line, if the stadium or university doesn't have a policy forbidding them than good old fashioned common sense and decency should take over.

its Maize, not yellow, dummy.

Probably.

I can confirm the 2011 effort. I'm friends with the guys in question, and they wore the suits to pretty much every game. They never had any issue getting into the stadium, as far as I'm aware, nor were they ever asked to not wear the suits. Mostly, they got high fives and air time.

I've seen a couple people wearing them in Indy a few years back at the B10 Basketball Tournament.
I've been to posbangs on here. I wouldn't suggest most of you wearing them.

to smuggle fruit into the stadium. Those things look like they could provide some pretty bad man-toe.
Just sayin.

I've seen a dude in my section (18) wearing one of these for at least the last two years, maybe three.
