Hoke -- Delano Hill broke jaw. Could be ready for opener
— angelique (@chengelis) August 6, 2014
It doesn't bother me any, but that might be too soon.
Or just soon enough?
I loved you in Spring Breakers.
I've been waiting for that on betamax!!!
Nothing short of perfection will do. This is Mgoblog, fergodsakes.
Hoke mentioned Watson as someone who will see more snaps as well.
Okay, #TeamJabrill didn't last long. RT @MaizeBlueNews: Hoke says strictly nickel for Jabrill Peppers.

Well I guess Dymonte is the guy opposite Wilson to start the season. I've been waiting to see Dymonte get some major minutes. With Hill out I was thinking Lewis & Raymon at CB, Countess at nickel and Wilson & Peppers at safety.
If he wasn't a legacy and was from another state like Illinois we wouldn't care. I'm sure he's a good player but what I've heard he isn't really on the same level as Bilal and others.
Your assistance is needed in the thread I started about Weber and Hill visiting campus today.
I don't see missing out on Thompson as a big loss, either.
was Michigan legacy recruit?
I mean, srsly...
If they win 36 in a row this decision still wouldn't make sense but you could rationalize it...
That record doesn't look as good as it did 13 years ago....
I had no idea you could get free weed, tats and summer jobs at Michigan State going forward...
Delano Hill broke his jaw "a few weeks ago" and managed to keep it quiet this whole time. Man, the fort really is back.
Too bad, I'm guessing it's going to be hard for him to keep good playing weight on while on a liquid diet.

Of course he did. It's not like it's easy to talk with a broken jaw.
Thomas can hold it down for one game. Watson is also a safety, at least that's where he practiced all spring.
I'm sure Clark and/or Wilson can play some SS if needed as well.
This has no impact on Peppers, it's been said after the fumbling of Thomas that he's not moving from the NB spot, period.
Countess, Taylor, Lewis are your CBs with Stribling the 4th guy.
Peppers is your NB with Countess is the 2nd guy.
Wilson and Clark are your FSs. With Watson as a 3rd.
Thomas and Hill are your SSs. With Watson as a 3rd.
...let's roll.
That's his quota for the year
I understand why Tyriq Thompson made that choice.
Good luck, kiddo. On to the next.
Go Blue...........
At the very least, Peppers should be one of our kick returners as well.

Dumb question... do the guys get access to their equipment in the summer (pads, helmets)? Just wondering how he broke the jaw in the off season.

I'm going to preface this by saying that I have no concrete information about this.
That being said, I'm thinking out loud here. A vague "football related drill" causes Hill to break his jaw, coming at a time when "football related drills" (as I understand it) are no-pad, voluntary affairs.
We know Csont'e York was recently involved in some sort of altercation that caused him to be suspended. We've heard fairly widespread rumors it involved an incident at Skeeps that culminated in someone being punched in the face and possibly breaking their jaw. Hockey players shoot down the rumor it was one of their guys. Now we have a football player with a broken jaw.
Now, I'm no math person, but this seems to add up.
Connecting dots to create correlation or a drawing of our choosing not sure, but that does sounds fishy. If Csonte York was defending Hill then I think we all owe him an apology for any bad things said, given 2 wrongs don't make a right.
Scrap the program
If it happened a few weeks ago, then I would think that he would be ready well before the opener, unless they hold these guys out for longer than they used to.
legacay or not. With limited class numbers, it wasn't going happen. Spartoons will twist this differently ... probably the Freep also but I don't read. We just need to shut some mouths with an exceptional season.
