Verizon FIOS Adding Big Ten Network Comment Count

Brian

Add another 1.2 million subscribers to the BTN pile:

For sports fans, Verizon is launching three new HD sports channels.Verizon has always placed a high priority on providing all major sports programming and offering as much as possible in HD.

The company has now added top college basketball and football action with the Big Ten Network, which will be available in both standard- and high-definition.

Verizon was the last alternative (fiber/satellite) provider to sign on; now it's just Charter, Time Warner, and Mediacom left.

Brighthouse is in the Detroit area (Farmington/Livonia/Novi) which is actually a nice bit of unsupported BTN potential-fans. Let's hope they get on board REAL soon.

I should not have explored Sumo Dawgs site... lets just say he has a new years picture that will make you want to grab the nearest bottle of eyebleach. what has been seen cannot be unseen. Why does an odd part of me miss the random insanity of haloscan?

The Horror was just nominated for "Biggest Upset." And it WILL win. Thank you SO much Carr, DeBord, English, Henne, Crable, Brown, and Sears for the gift that just keeps on giving!!

Every Michigan fan should get his ass onto ESPN.com and vote like hell against The Horror as much as possible. Now Trinity vs. Millsaps already won the Pontiac game-changing performance award, so now we have to get to work on the ESPYs. Everyone should vote for Fresno St over Georgia. I'm also a Pats fan, but if you must, vote for the Giants. That might have the best chance of defeating The Horror and taking one major step toward locking it in the vault of CFB history.
