Michigan B-Ball in Italy Schedule Set

Submitted by StephenRKass on

A schedule of four basketball games over 8 days in Italy has been released. The translation from Italian into English is . . . intriguing. This is a grammar Nazi's delight.

“After winning the Big Ten title, qualified to the NCAA tournament, where reached the Elite Eight and saw their journey interrupted by Uconn, then won the title. The Wolverines have undergone considerable changes over the summer, in fact, four players were chosen by reference to NBA teams (Nick Stauskas at all with the choice of n. 8), confirming the high quality of the basketball program. It is thanks to the great tradition, and excellent recruiting system, important that these departures will be replaced by more prospects coming from High School. Among the experts is rumored to Kameron Chatman, DJ Wilson and Ricky Doyle, the NCAA will be a brief period before joining the league in which they are intended: the NBA. There are all the ingredients for a spectacular game, where the protagonist will be stronger than any college edition of College Basketball Tour.”

Here is the schedule:

Aug. 17 vs. the Perugia All Star Men in Rome, Aug. 19 vs. The Big All Star Men at the Vicenza Palazzetto dello Sport, Aug. 20 vs. the Opitergium Spartans Men at the Vicenza Palazzetto dello Sport, and Aug. 22 vs. Mantova Stings in Mantua (Matova).

We are bound to be double-digit underdogs on the 19th.

The Big All Star Men?  I know which team will be my new adopted Italian basketball club.
