Saturday Night Drinking Thread...Why Not

Submitted by Abomb4480 on

Day 4 in a row.... why not? I just poured a nice tall glass of Rochester Mills Milkshake Stout as I'm trying to recover from being the runner-up for my dream job.

What's in your glass?

I love drinking threads... I participate way too much. We should make a game that goes along with it somehow... Like an actor and then your favorite movie with them in it or something.

But in my glass right now... Some country time half and half, soon to be Dark horse smells like a safety meeting.

My dad [attempted] to brew some home-made Bell's Two-Hearted. It's pretty close but we're trying to determine why there's not as much fizz. Pretty darn good, regardless.

I discovered it a few months ago and have enjoyed the odd six-pack ever since. Which one did you get, out of curiosity? So far, my two personal favorites are the Traditional Dry and the Green Apple, although I will say that the Elderflower actually is not bad either - seems like the cider equivalent of a "sipping beer", if you will.

Hey LSA I got the Crisp Apple ones and I really liked them. It was the first "apple" flavored beer I've tried and I was considering the Green Apples but I couldn't imagine that tasting good in my mind. However, based on your opinion I will be sure to pick those up next weekend

home-grown steaks about to go on the grill.   barn chores done just in front of a signif rain coming our way.   we left the cows out though.  they are waterproof and there's too many to clean up after.

Dental Floss

Raisin' it up
Waxen it down
In a little white box

Glass of Black Maple Hill bourbon, followed by Breckenridge bourbon.

Survived my 6 year old's birthday with 20 of his classmates. Celebrating that.
