Where does the linked article say that?   And since it doesn't, what do you have to back up your statement?

Honestly, from everything I've ever read about it, RichRod simply wanted to do something completely different from the Michigan Replay format.   MR for years and years had been filmed in the hours after the game and focused primarily on highlights of that Saturday's game along with commentary by Coaches Bo, Mo, and Lloyd.  This didn't fit RichRod's schedule.

After home games, it usually was quite easy to get the MR filming done ASAP after the game; after road games it was a bit trickier, especially once Brandstatter got the gig as Detroit Lions color man and had to scramble to his other job as quickly as MR was finished filming.

Your link simply doesn't back up the statement you attached to it.

I assume the Michigan Replay guy doesn't own the rights to a Hollywood movie's theme song. They could have kept the same format and called it Michigan Rewind if RR felt like it. He didn't. Please accept this and move on.

It would be nice to see what Doug Karsch and Greg Mattison were talking about translate as they hope it will, and not just the on-the-field performance but the leadership aspect as well. I think the defense - less affected by changes - probably started out on more solid footing in both regards. I know we speculate much about how the offensive and the switch to inside zone is going, but I am equally curious about the move to a 4-3 Over.

in the B10, but goddammit if Michigan might not have one of the better, deeper total defensive units in the league. Solid recruiting and player retention does wonders over time.

Why did they change the intro to say "league titles" instead of Big Ten titles?

Also, hard to believe Joe Bolden is a junior already.

Nothing special here, I just thought he was very thoughtful.  I don't think I've seen a lot of interviews of him so I didn't realize, but he seemed very thoughtful.  Each time I see these guys interviewed I am impressed by how they all seem like good guys who are intelligent, thoughtful, and care about thier teammates.  It's nice to get wins on the field, but it's also good to see good people.

Two dudes are playing golf...they are on the hole that runs along the road (every course has one).  Dave is getting ready to hit from the fairway, when they look up and see a funeral procession rounding the corner.  Dave steps back, bows his head, and waits for the entire funeral to pass.

Jim says, "Dave, that was a really nice gesture...very thoughtful."

Dave: "Well, we were married 25 years."

Is it just me, or does every video on MGoBlue or MGoVideo have massive buffering issues? I can't go forty seconds without it stopping because it's not loaded yet.

I truly believe that this 2014 michigan football team could shock the world and win a big ten championship and rose bowl possibly! I know I'm drinking some kool-aid.

I'm not going to agree or disagree, I hear what your saying and sort of feel the same way due to how the last two years have gone, plus if Hoke is going to work out and this Program is going to get turned around finally, this year has to be the start of it. Also, a lot point to 2015 as being the year, well if that's true, another 7-6 year will not give this staff any sort of momentum and bring 2015 in with less boom. It could just be that false feeling we all get in July.

Mattison was the story.  He looked like a cheshire cat who had just eaten the forbidden cheese.  When asked about his take on the defense as a group he quickly answered  "I'm really impressed with these kids" and added "i like this group".  I seem to remember him being non-committal in prior years about the defense being a "Michigan Defense" and now he looks and acts like he knows something special is about to be unveiled on the D side of the ball.  Yeah, it's June and I get it, but something seems different in a positive manner from Coach GMatt.  Count me in at the kool-aid stand...hell i've got the next round!
