Roll Call: Who Ordered Football Ticket Packs

Submitted by Avon Barksdale on

As much as we grumble on and on about the athletic department, we all know we will still support this Michigan football team and hope to see a solid product this season. With that being said, who ordered ticket packs today?

  • What package did you pick and what games will you be attending?
  • Where did they seat you?

For me, I chose the Go Blue Ticket Pack with Penn State and Miami (OH) already given to you. My third game I decided on Maryland over homecoming vs Indiana. My reasoning was I'd like to see Maryland in their first year in the B1G.

Miami (OH) - Section 25, row 74

PSU - Section 28, row 75

Maryland - Section 44, row 18.

I've got two season tickets, but my two kids haven't been to a game. I'm taking my kids to their first game against Appalachain St. Got tickets on the 50 yard line!

Can't wait!

I just ordered because, as usual, I am a sucker.

I went with Penn State, Miami (no choice), and Minnesota.  Also have tickets to @ND and @NW, so I'll be seeing plenty of football this fall.

Hey... how did you get your tix for NW? When I renewed my season tix, there was info that said available away games would be offered on a priorty points basis (like most things), and that those with lower point totals (that'd be me, although I'm not rock bottom or anything) would be offered in May, if available.  I never saw anything else about it.  Just curious... I went last year using tix a friend and NW alum purchased, and Ryan Field wasn't anywhere close to filled. Was hoping to purchase them on my own through UMAD this year.

Well, I just got lucky.  I actually have 0 priority points as a recent grad who hasn't donated or purchased a season.  A relative has tons of points, and usually orders the away games.  One day about a month and a half ago he mentioned that he ordered @NW and @ND for me to use if interested...couldn't say no to that!

I live in Chicago and used stubhub for the NW game last year, which was more expensive than I expected at $70 a seat.  Good luck in your search!

My Michigan Football Season Fund cannot financially support buying any tickets this year.  I spent $15 backing HTTV.  The rest is reserved for the beer and bourban l will need to endure the actual football season.

I did not order tickets this year. I live in the Cleveland area and used to try to get to one game per season, but more and more lately, I have preferred to stay at home to watch the games. The cost of driving to Ann Arbor is just too much now considering ticket and gasoline prices and simply isn't worth it when I can get a better experience at home with access to beer, food, and more games on TV to switch to when possible. Don't get me wrong, I still like going to the games, and I would if I lived closer to Ann Arbor, but I prefer the stay near to home experience.

I'm in the same situation. I live in Nashville but considering moving back to Michigan in late July/early August. I'll be going to law school in 2015 and figured with poverty looming in my future I might as well see a few Michigan games this season whether I stay in Nashville or move back to the mitten.

I actually did as well because my season tickets aren't quite so numerous that I could take my kids to every home game, but I do like that I have a way, for a decent price, to get them to a couple games and let them have the experience again. Also, I typically end up selling off some of the tickets for a couple games due to conflicts (my wife works afternoons and often has weekend shifts at the hospital), so I get at least some of it back regardless. It might be an odd system, but it works well enough for me.

Penn state- ( its the night game, only way i felt tickets would be possible to get for this game), Miami ( cheapest i could find ), and App State ( i need to kill this demon )

3 games , 3 road trips.

But I'll hopefully make it out to a game, preferably penn state. Although, I took a glance at my exam schedule for the upcoming year and I have Monday and/or Wednesday exams every week for the entirety of the football season

I bought the not-promoted "Dogshit Ticket Pack".  It includes App State, Miami (Ohio) and one (small) cup of Absopure water.  I had to promise to arrive four hours early and paint my face, but I'd pay any price to see the mighty Red Hawks!

Miami- sect 43 row B

Utah- sect 24 row 50

Penn St sect 5 row 24

now that I'm $495 in for a pair, the other four I will search for half face or so and a "season ticket holder" for $815 with pretty decent seats already in the bag.

I'm still thinking about the PSU/Miami/Pick Another pack with a friend.

I could care less about Miami and was thinking of going with Maryland with my other choice. I haven't been to a night game yet and really want the PSU ticket.

When you check out, it lists the prices per ticket for each game...Miami: $40/each. Incredible

I did. Indiana as my 3rd.
Felt $40 a ticket was fair for Miami, $95 was fair for Penn State and Indiana was a little more than I would have liked to pay.

in section 42 for Indiana and Miami row 7 &11. section 5 row 50s for Penn State.

For family pack for App St game

Section 2

Row 76

Seats 2-5

Price was $315, but that includes the hotdogs!!!

Happy with the seats - better selection than last year where we were very high up in the end zone for CMU.

This will be my family's 2nd trip for a game - went last year and they had so much fun (partially due to the great advice I got from my fellow MGoBloggers) that we are making it a tradition to go to the 1st home game each year.

Outside of the rivalry games, the home opener is always my favorite game of the season.  Not only is the weather almost always nice, but there's the added excitement of a new season.  There's nothing to really rant about before kickoff, so it's always filled with so much excitement.

Anybody have a link to a detailed version of the stadium where I can get an idea of row numbers and seat numbers.

Everything I find online (yes, I am aware of the thing called Google and tried that first) just shows Section 2, Section 3, etc. but not the detail of rows and seats. Just want to get a better perspective on actually where my seats are and not just the section. Thanks.

I'm looking for tickets to the Rutgers game in New Brunswick.  Anyone recall when Michigan will offer their allotment for road games?

mGrowOld

June 5th, 2014 at 12:41 PM ^

They've been offering them.  The one my brother got (around 100 priority points) showed ticket availblity for Northwestern, MSU & OSU with Rutgers & ND sold out.  Which means season ticket holders a bit higher on the food chain bought those out.

So if you're thinking of going you'll need to go StubHub or some other secondary market source.  The University doesnt have any left for sale.

MGoBrother and I always take our kids to a September game; as a good planner, I asked him whether I should pull on one of the packages.  He hit it right on the nose -- "let's figure out which of those games we want, and hit the secondary market.  Cheaper, and easier."

Sorry, DB.

I  did the Kids Go Blue club family four pack for the Utah game.  4 tickets for $200 in Section 28 plus t-shirts, drinks, hot dogs and programs.
