META: HTTV Kickstarter just a few dollars away
$110 to go as of 11:14AM
Didn't want to do it at work, but wanted to make sure I got it in before we hit the mark. Jumped us up to $95 to go!.
I think Brian should do a couple higher price items of interest for next year. For example, ability to sit in on an interview or dinner discussion or something interesting. Also something charitable will be cool, like if you donate $300, then 20 copies of the book gets distributed for free at the local YMCA or at the Ann Arbor Library.
The $10,000 to dress up as Terrelle Pryor at your child's birthday party needs to make a return.
You can watch me eat a burrito.
Pancheros > Chipotle > Qdoba
JeepinBen...im'a let you finish...but you are wrong. I would reverse the direction of both your >s and then it would be correct.
Pancheros flour wrapping is the best.
BTB guac and steak is the best.
Qdoba or Moes queso dip is legendary.
Chipotle's lime/salt seasoned rice is the best and their black beans...
Now combine them for an amazing frigging burrito!!
A friend in college used to get a burrito bowl from chipotle and a tortilla from Pancheros to make his own
Burrito Joint?
I'm in.
$20 bucks to eat a wasabi laced burrito.
$50 bucks to eat a hot dog covered in chopped jalepenos and habeneros.
$100 bucks to spike the Absopure water buckets on game day.
$2,500 bucks to set up a tent on coach hoke's parking spot and beg him to feed you his lunch.
If you donate $300, one copy gets sent to the Ann Arbor Public Library and $270 gets sent to an actual charity.
Just three more backers!
EDIT: Just two more!
EDIT: It's ovah!
If you're on the Kickstarter page, you can watch it tick up. I just saw it go from 29,950 to 29,965 to 29,980.
And now 30,060! We did it!
You's good people.
WOOO! Now let's all claim credit for making the pivotal donation to put us over the edge!
I did $100 on day one to get it started... I'm an early bird : )
It's over funded. I call first dibs on getting a refund but keeping the magazine and t-shirt!
Hopefully, now that the last two days are all icing at this point as it is fully funded, this means we get a kickoff party with some decent catering, right? At the very least, some Taco Bell and a point bump? The possibilities are numerous, I think.
In all seriousness though, I think overall we get great value and for no monetary requirement, especially as this site breaks information before some pay sites sometimes. As a community, we keep each other in the know about Michigan athletics, so to have a printed reference for football is a nice added benefit and something worthwhile, I think.
If Taco Bell is the caterer, make sure the venue has lots of restrooms.
Speaking of which, the Starbucks at State and Liberty sucks.
They recently renovated that one. Have you been in since then?
Maybe not. The last time I was there was probably two years ago.
