I don't understand how the word priority is still being used. Do you wanna sell tickets? Why not throw out the $100 that's not being used to buy anything, let alone a rediculous $500 "priority point" tagline.
In a down year like this just sell them to everyone and sellout please!
It's all about the brand and value. If you drop it this year people will be pissed if it comes back in the future. Every game will still be a sellout, no doubt.
fixed
I think it's also seen as a technique to try and sell to "Michigan" fans first before making them generally available.
What is the price and availability of the family 4 pack for App. St.?
My parents are looking for 4 b/c they are entertaining some English guests. My priority points allow me to buy tomorrow. At least they toss in some "freebies" while they are charging a premium price for APP. ST.!!
PSU $125; IU $100; Minny $100; App St $80; MD $80; Miami O. $75.
That's the price per ticket? Must be an all beef hot dog, coke in a glass bottle, autographed program, and a nice Climalite Adidas shirt.
Brady Hoke or Dave Brandon?
I think Kate Upton's is the hottest!
Brandon is turning big profits. That is his job description, so it's not him.
How is DBs hands picked selection. Unless he goes under .500, the temperature of his seat is unchanged.
Section 23 is dead on the 50 yard line. Lots of very expensive seats still up for grabs if there are really 75 available for every home game for groups.
I was shocked! I knew Club seats and chairbacks were available too. However, I thought with the student section shrinking by about 5k that the tickets would be over there. Season ticket sales for non-students were also off by about 5-8K.
how hard is it to get ahold of individual-game tickets for those seats? I know that they are not available on MGoBlue.com's Premium Ticket Exchange unless you qualify by having a donor account and/or enough priority points and register, and I never see any listed on StubHub.
I've been considering looking for anywhere from 4 to as many as 8 tickets for a game in either of those seating areas (and NO! NOT for App State!), but am not sure where to start in my search. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Check out the MGoBlog ticket spreadsheet (under MGoBoard link) at the top right corner of the MGoBlog website. I have Club Seats listed there. Section 306, Row 4, Seats 1 and 2.
I'll take a look (even though I'm actually looking for a larger quantity).
I was starting to wonder if I would ever find a way to experience that "WOW factor" that is spoken of ---it's actually part of the blurb promoting suites, club and chairbacks on the MGoBlue.com page regarding premium ticket sales and how to get in those seats on a season-ticket-holder basis.
The Lochdog
Just a die hard Maize and Blue maniac!
I go to at least one or two games every year and get the tickets ahead of time through Michigan packages or Stub Hub for a small premium. It isn't a big deal to pay a little extra for the assurance of having a seat, but most of the games you can get a group of tickets for $15 to $20 a piece instead of the $80 to $100 that I end up paying. When going with a group it adds up. Unless we start playing well and start playing a better schedule, the bottom is going to drop out.
Has anybody been able to purchase the Go Blue pack? It supposedly starts at $200, I'm wondering if anyone has actually got it for that price.
They started selling them today. Must have at least 100 points.
I understand that, but I'm wondering if the $200 is a legit price, or if it will increase because of demand like the dynamic system they had last year.
No, the $200 price will not change with dynamic pricing. They are having trouble selling tickets this year.
No worries! Thanks.
I paid $575 for 2 seats. I think if you choose the endzone seats, then you can get it for that price, but haven't tried. I just went with best available.
Mgoblue.com says group tickets are not available for Penn St. Are you certain that you can buy group tickets for that game?
Funny thing is that people are paying a lot more on stubhub for these tickets. PSU tickets on Stubhub are actually selling for $300-500 per seat...
A couple are. You got me wondering so I checked just now on StubHub to see what tickets were selling for in my old area. Section 3, row 27, seats 24-27 (basically on the 30 yard line - visitors) and there were two seats sold in the $200s for PSU and one package in the $300s for PSU but nothing was moving for any other games.
Also there are currently 12 season ticket packages available in section three - and only one has sold and it was for face value so the seller paid the PSL and got back their ticket price. If memory serves there isnt much traffic until the tickets are actually issued and then things heat up quite a bit.
Interesting.. Looks like the season tix were sold for $975. I think cost is $455 plus $350 PSL (depending on which side of the aisle you are sitting on, the PSL could also be $475).
Going on those numbers it looks like you are talking about $975-805 = $170 profit. Then minus 15% stubhub commission, but add back your tax deduction on the PSL.
That doesn't seem so bad... Seems like there is still healthy demand.
Just bought the Go Blue pack for $575 for 2 seats!! Nice!!!
And another 2!
Hate money!!
Nice! I'm thinking they will be long gone by the time I get a shot on Thursday.
You will get tickets on Thursday.
Might as well call that 75-seat block a Lochmann Package. Maybe even throw in a slice of Domino's and a small Coke on every seat.
Papa John's, you mean.
$595 for Penn St, Miami OH, and Minn, for 2 seats in Victors seating. (Includes $15 surcharge.) For what the PSL costs for these seats, I am geeked to get them at this price.
Now I just need to avoid looking on Stub Hub during the season. Regardless, very much looking forward to these games.
a few good seats left in the Victors Section. I scored 2 extra seats for PSU. I plan on dontating the Miami tix to charity.
if so, what is??? i've got ticket fever!!!
