I was pretty upset the first time around when he didn't choose Michigan. Now, after seeing his 6 YPC average as a freshman, it would hurt even more if he commits elsewhere.

This might have been explained in the thread that announced his intention to transfer from USC back to a school closer to his home state of Illinois, and if so, I missed it and apologize for repetitive information. Supposedly, the primary reason this is happening - NBC story here - is that his mother has some complications as a result of surgery to attempt to correct a hearing problem. The story also mentions that he might go for a waiver so he can play right away.

Maybe fans will put all the whining and feeling sorry for themselves behind them. This is going to be a lot better season then most are predicting, so it seem motherf***ers would like to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Obviously Ty has potential and will be a great pickup for whoever lands him. The fact of the matter is that part of ohio's recruiting strategy is to at the very least inquire about every potential big name that plans on considering michigan. They currently have the head up on the field (at least on O) and they will make that pitch to any big name.

I am very interested in hearing how this went today.  I have had enough with the not-so-good news on the RB Recruiting front.  This would be a big.  I have a good feeling about this one!

Do we really have a legitimate shot with Isaac?  I thought he got a family hardship deferment on his transfer, which means he doesn't have to sit out a season, but only if he goes to a school less than 100 miles from home.
